How FaZe Clan became PGL Major Champions (CS:GO Documentary)

- Your 2022 PGL ANTWERP MAJOR CHAMPIONS. Karrigan, Rain, Broky, Ropz & Twistzz battled it out and defeated BNE, Cloud 9, CPHF, NIP, Spirit and NAVI to bring home the Major championship.
They have now won the first 3 tournaments of 2022, in a row. The win solidified the team's name in the history books, marking the first Major win for FaZe as well as any international team. Follow the team as they continue to write history.

His nuke performance will go down as an all-time GOATed performance. It was scary how well he controlled outside with a rifle. Genuine artwork.
It was a long road from 2015 but I couldn’t be more happy for this team. Especially Rain who was there every step of the way and for Karrigan to rejoin faze like it was written in a prophecy. Then on top of that to have my Countrymen Twistz 🇨🇦and Ropz🇪🇪 on the team + the 🐐Broky. It truly made a 7 year long dream come true
The thing is, Karrigan didn't leave FaZe. He was kicked out because of ChoKo. So he and rain are both are loyal to the team

This is what sportsmanship is. Twistzz and ropz acted like players who would keep playing in such a scenario. -rep to them honestly, but huge respect to karrigan, handled it like a champ

Twistzz @ 5:45 has fantastic input and really persuades the team. I love seeing him in this team, such a great group of guys. I can't see this productive open minded dialogue going on at liquid.
in my opinion, he is correct, cloud9 made a "mistake", but it's not their fault at all. they are just capitalizing on that mistake.

Actually seeing it happen and the discussion carries so much more weight than seeing on twitter "oh they messed up their veto". Damn, feels bad for C9 but I still think Faze would have won it anyways
The problem with that thing is robin said if it was any other tournament we wouldhave done it but in a major you cannot risk, that is something opponents should think
i agree, but still, even though it's a mistake to "fuck up" the veto, it's not their fault, it's like saying, they lost a 5v1 that shouldn't have lost, lets restart the round and play again.
Why were they not able to revert their decision? Couldn't they have just said something like "oh I meant...."

@@MCrelationz idk how the software they use works, but they pretty clearly enter something into a tablet and maybe there’s no undo function or something similar. When they click it, maybe it’s locked

Damn watching this after the recent news of Twistzz leaving hits different. I really loved this team and everyone on it. They had good chemistry and just all seemed like really good friends. This will probably be the biggest highlight/ achievement of this lineup. Will miss this faze era. Faze up

so proud of these boys. ngl i started tearing up when they won. everyone wrote every single one of these guys off and said they couldnt do this and the fucking did it. been here since the beginning and so glad they were able to prove everybody wrong. especially happy for havi in finn for being able to avenge bosotn after 4 years. i was crushed by the loss to cloud9 but so happy the boys were able to dust themselves off and fight their way back to the top #FaZeUp
Bro i literally cried when they won. Following them for 4 years, it was really depressing to be faze fan the past couple of tournaments with a lot of roster changes. But it all finally paid off, they deserve it and couldnt be more happier for them.

I'm a huge Spirit fan but FaZe won me over for the Grand Final even after they beat Spirit because they were such good sports about it. Karrigan and Rain didn't just say "gg ez" and call it a day. They recognized that Spirit put up one hell of a fight for a fresh roster.

I don't really have team favorites. I root for NA when given the chance. Had to root for Carrigan and Faze here. Glad to see Rain put the haters down and very happy for Karrigan to get the big dub.

I love the production quality of these documentaries and all the insights we get onto how the players themselves were faring throughout the event. Usually don't watch team VLogs since I think they're a waste of time, but these are definitely worth the watch

It's been such a rollercoaster of emotions since 2015 as the original Kinguin lineup with Rain Fox, Maikelele, ScreaM and Dennis, the highs of winning championships like Pro Leagues and Belo Horizonte to the lows of crashing out of majors in 15th-16th. Through all of the roster changes it's been one hell of a ride following the team but I wouldn't change it for anything.
I've been a massive fan of Karrigan since I started watching CS, I love his attitude, friendliness and sheer determination. I am so, so glad he finally accomplished his goal.
This Faze team is a pleasure to watch, they are all so likeable. I love all of them.

One of the earliest from that era I can remember is called Electronic Warfare, everyone should check it out! Keep up the good work!

I can't express how happy I am for the major win. I started watching CS:GO in 2016 and fell in love with the team (mainly because of fox at the time since we're both Portuguese). I always believed we had the potential to be great, so many strong lineups, legends of the game and up-and-coming stars, raw aimers and gamesense gods, but we had never quite made it. The Boston final was probably the most heartbreaking game of CS I've ever watched, I have to admit at that point I thought we would never win a major. But we fucking did it. So many highs and so many lows, it was all worth it for that moment when I finally saw my team lift the major trophy. This is the team, these are the guys that can do it all. ropz, the koolest kid on the block, actually inhuman timing lurker god, newest addition, 100% tournament winrate, this guy can do anything. Twistzz, the beast unleashed, when the team needs someone to step up he's there, insane accuracy, one of, if not the best raw aimer in the world right now, you can never count him out of a clutch situation, Russ has an incredible energy. broky, the Latvian Laser, GuardiaN reincarnated, man of few words, so good now, and still so young, he has such a bright future. rain, rainMONSTA, The Architect, the cornerstone of FaZe, Havi is one of my favorite players of all time, has not even reached his best form, it's unreal how good he is, such resilience and belief to stay on this team and finally things are working out. And karrigan, for me he's the best caller of all time. There's no better IGL at this moment, insane gamesense, for me, he's the best of all time. Heartbreak, glories, the career worthy of a legend. Finally he fucking did it. I told my friends when he came back "give us a year and we'll win a major". They didn't believe me at the time, and perhaps I didn't believe myself either, I was always optimistic about my team but I knew it would be very difficult. And then it happened. And now whenever we talk about CS the topic always comes back to FaZe. And that's how it should be. I wish I could go to Blast in Lisbon, it would be my first in-person event, but maybe someday you guys can come back and I'll be able to support you. Nevertheless, I'll continue to watch every game, as I've always done. Thank you so much for this incredible journey all these years, and here's for many, many more. #FaZeUp ❤

Started playing and watching CSGO in Covid lockdown and was immediately a Faze fan. Was in Amsterdam and Belgium for business when the major was on and had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to the final game in Antwerp. Was the most exhilarating experience which I will never forget. Watching the videos I took still gives me goosies!! Watching this vid and seeing what happened in the background was just awesome. I admit, I haven’t been a fan of faze csgo for a long time, as I only started playing cs in the middle of the pandemic but fuck man it has been a journey. Countless roster moves, -olaf +bymas -bymas +kjaerbye, then the NewYork win and Niko and yankos’ last tourney and then +olaf, then the rebuild for this major roster started. It’s been one hell of a roller coaster and I’m glad to have been part of it. Feels good man.
It was so intense to sit in the grand stands constantly shouting LETSGO FAZE CLAN LETSGO what an experience(i lost my voice after btw)🤣
Being there in the arena and witnessing this team, especially karrigan and rain FINALLY winning a major was truly fucking special. I was so hyped already when they won the quarterfinal 14:38 , not knowing the two series that would come after that were going to be even better.
