I had been looking for a new design for gift card holders and this one is now my go-to design! I also had very little waste of paper using your design! Thank you, again!
No dies needed, to make the gift card holder themselves. The dies used are optional for dressing them up. The point being is that these gift card holders can be made with a paper cutter and scoring tool. It was not meant to mislead only show that you don’t NEED dies to make some fun gift card holders. I think they are all fabulous. Gift cards are a popular choice as a rule, although as so many stores have gone into administration & closed down, they are recommending not to buy as the recipient won't be able to use them, if the shop folds. I used the Lawn Fawn flippy flappy card for my friend's son & she loved how the card popped out. I hid a scene underneath it too. Merry Christmas & hoping for a brighter 2022. However, as long as we have our crafting, we will be fine. I've been poorly, full of cold & hoping it works through my system for the weekend. Had my last day at work for this year, so I can just sleep until I'm better. 🎅🎄☃️🇬🇧

Hi Carrie! How exciting to be new to paper crafting! I have used both the Big Shot by Sizzix and the Platinum machines by Spellbinders. You can not go wrong with either of these systems. I do love the new Universal Plate system that Spellbinders just came out with . It allows you to run embossing folders from all different companies through the machine. As the thickness of these folders can vary. No dies are needed to make the gift card holders. I did not use any specialty dies to make the actual gift card holders. The dues I used were by choice to decorate the gift card holders, they are not required to make the gift card holder. So therefore they are not needed. You can choose how you want to embellish and decorate them, with or without dies. Sorry if the title was misleading to you. That was not my intention. It was just to let people know, here was some ways you can make fun gift card holders and you don’t have to buy dies to make them. I hope that makes sense. Because to make the actual gift card holder you do not need a die to create it. Just paper, paper cutter, a score board. Using does to decorate them isn’t needed it’s just optional. Sorry if that came across confusing. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks for watching.

Yes, there are no dies needed to create the actual gift card holder itself. The dies I used were in the decorating process. You can use whatever you have to decorate the gift card holder. Great projects, but sad to see that you are indeed using dies (I no longer have a die cutting machine, so I would have to try to handcut some of the features).
Oh, I am so sorry you no longer have a die machine. I did do some die cutting for decorative elements on these gift card holders. But as for the holders themselves you do not need dies to make them. The gift card holders themselves need no dies to create. I chose to decorate mine using dies. However, you choose to make them is up to you. In the past I gave used a magnet for a gift card holder. The magnet voided the card. Be careful.

Why does it say no dies needed?
Because to make the actual gift card holder you do not need a die to create it. Just paper, paper cutter, a score board. Using does to decorate them isn’t needed it’s just optional. Sorry if that came across confusing. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks for watching.

Yes, there are no dies needed to create the actual gift card holder itself. The dies I used were in the decorating process. You can use whatever you have to decorate the gift card holder. Great projects, but sad to see that you are indeed using dies (I no longer have a die cutting machine, so I would have to try to handcut some of the features).
Oh, I am so sorry you no longer have a die machine. I did do some die cutting for decorative elements on these gift card holders. But as for the holders themselves you do not need dies to make them. When they are created you can then decorate them with things that you have and like to use. Are you looking to get a new die cutting machine? Thanks for watching and Happy Stamping!

The gift card holders themselves need no dies to create. I chose to decorate mine using dies. However, you choose to make them is up to you. I’m sorry if you found the title of my video misleading, I only hope to share new ideas and inspiration joy through paper crafting. Thank you for your comment and honesty.
Your title is still misleading. The gift card would pretty “blah” without the die cuts you used to embellish it even excluding the circle dies.
