Thanks for your feedback Raul, just to let you know that we now offer Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying for beginners to existing experienced engineers.
Hi, If you only have one station on site and it is in the global coordinate system, then you can use GPS to get more points. If your only point is in a local coordinate system, then if you know the north direction, you can set up on it, sight to the north, and establish more points. If you don't know the north direction, then go to the site topographic drawing which should show existing structures, then use AutoCAD to get their coordinates to use for backsight.
Please note we are now offering a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying, 2-4 weeks long or at weekends. 5 day long intensive course at 50% off for experienced engineers on the second week of each month www.finchleycollege.com
Sorry for the late reply, but once the resection is done, you will save the coordinates of all other points as fixed points in the memory, and then from the stake-out program you can set them out. The idea with the local coordinate system is to be able to calculate the coordinates of any point easier.
This is one of the simplest and easiest setting out way, explained in here! Thanks a lot!

What about the Z coordinate? If the contractor wants to know how much material they need too remove from the site?
Ideas on how to set this site up with only one station if it turns out to not be compatible with OS? (One in pink is the station)

Can i take studies online....am from africa.
Not fully explained, after getting distances from free station to E and F, how do I get points ABCD???
search online for a resection , and how a total station work !
Once u know A and B the station can map the entire site...so if you have the coordinates for c and d it will locate it for u
