I love that this kit increases the bullet velocity out of subsonic speeds, yet still calls the ammo subsonic 9mm and not just normal 9mm so you can get extra ammo from your sidearm, that’s always fun
While visually, I see where you're coming from, I personally prefer the Aftermarket Part system for this as it allows them to make the conversion feel and play almost like an entirely different gun whereas, in MW19, often times the attachment to effectively change the weapon model into a different variant would either make the gun straight up worse or it would be so similar to the base gun that it wouldn't feel fresh at all, it would just feel like a normal attachment. I see what they're doing here as an efficient use of resources as we get new and truly unique feeling playable content (on a very regular basis) because they're able to simply build off of the existing weapon models without starting from scratch. I think that the JAK Decimator Kit is replacing the role of the Lachmann Sub from MWII in MWIII, which used to be outputting the high damage output at close range and dropping off toward the average TTK over medium range under a slightly slower fire rate and handling because of the increased TTK in general in MWIII, while the original Lachmann Sub is serving as the standard "average" SMG with its "average" damage output for an extended maximum damage range in MWIII.
I wouldn't say adding the kit if still going for Semi Auto is a waste. It ups the Bullet Velocity by 50% while maintaining damage profile. You couldn't up the BV in any meaningful way before, and the incredibly slow default BV makes itself feel! Will try ASAP.
Testing using game captures at 60 FPS the Decimator's fire rate cap in semi-auto sits somewhere a bit above 600 RPM. They should have added an aftermarket part for the MP5 that allows it to shoot 10 mm rounds to go along with this conversion kit. That way they both become better not just one of them.
I'm hoping for some kind of taq-56 or m13 conversion within the next two seasons. I'm not sure what they would do, but I'd love to see some attention for two of my favorite weapons in the game
Alright so we have a conversion kit that makes the gun full auto- which it should have been from the start... on an MP5SD, which also blocks the best attachment slot avalible on MW2 guns. (Which isn't saying anything, but still.) Aside from muzzles... which are also blocked due to the gun itself having and integrated suppressor. This "conversion kit" basically just is the same as taking the MP5 in mw19 and putting one of the intigrated suppressor barrels on it, except this is an attachment on a gun that was seperated from the normal mp5 for... some reason, I guess to make it burst as an excuse to add a "new gun". The only reason this kit isn't more underwhelming than the one you get from the weekly challenges this week is due to that one literally just removing vertical recoil on an already boring gun... I get they're busy with BO6 but this just makes me expect even less from BO6 when it comes out. If this is a sign of anything to come, I expect the Kastov-74u to get a conversion kit that turns it into an AS-Val, while blocking the stock, rear grip, barrel, and muzzle attachments. Which was an entire gun in MW19, and something you could just turn a gun into in Cold War the same way you could turn an MP5 into an MP5SD in MW19. I guess all this weeks two kits have left me with is being glad that XDefiant was released when it was and that it's free to play.
The explosive crossbow now 1-shots riot shields. In other news, they reverted the photonic barrel on the Mors so you can no longer tap fire and get a 1-shot, not sure why? 😢
Noticed, at least in the Firing Range, the Shroud (with or without the kit) doesn't seem to have a 4-shot kill. That just a bug with the Firing Range or is there a discrepancy in actual stats vs reported stats damage and/or range wise?
@@MrKing-he3eo Yeah, used the target-finding optic and turned out the dummies are just a bit farther than the range markers would indicate. XD So all's good.

Been running a build of this that I really like. It wins gunfights. K/D using it so far is 1.56 the only thing I dislike is how slow u run with 50rd mag. I tried the 40 but kept getting killed by that 4th or 5th person.
tnx Ace! If you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have known it existed. And, turns out I already did the challenge, somehow. Nice to see MW II guns get some attention -- esp SMGs which seem not as useful compared with AR, BR, Marksman.
the biggest issue i have with the lachman shroud, amp or not, is the reload (i dont know if its the same on the sub as i havnt actually bothered unlocking it yet) the fact that you effectively always do an empty mag reload really hurts this thing and doesnt make any sense at all logically
Semi auto kills slower than this? And requires a very good trigger finger that most aren’t capable of, and even if they are, they won’t be accurate with it
@@emwols From Ace's own video a couple months ago, the semi-auto mode kills in 231ms (3 shot kill) up to ~24m. Also 520RPM is not insane for a trigger finger either, plus there is basically no recoil. But yeah this Decimator kit is better in the ~13m range or w/e cause easier to use and more forgiving.
@@BlurredWolf definitely depends on the person, I would say 80% or people can’t achieve that fire rate in combination with remaining accurate with it though otherwise you would see people using it because those are crazy good stats. Say what you want about 2019, but at least its attachments made sense. Each gun had about the same to work with, with a few unique twists and conversions spread out to make them feel unique and interesting. Now...there's just too much damn bloat. The aftermarket parts were a cool idea, but it's no different from releasing a new weapon. Dozens of useless or redundant sights and attachments aside (which I still don't even know if the stats are correct for all of them), but wow we have a mess of MP5s which all boil down to "use this one and forget everything else".
I used it earlier when I was doing some of the weekly challenges, and I thought it was pretty good!
gun is an absolute beast man i love it
i cant wait for burst lachman sub
Been loving this gun trying to get the one trick camo
The explosive crossbow now 1-shots riot shields. In other news, they reverted the photonic barrel on the Mors so you can no longer tap fire and get a 1-shot, not sure why? 😢
ive been using this since it dropped its fire
Man i wish this kit brought back the full circle mp5 iron sights, im just not a fan of the U-shape sights, i miss the Black Ops 1 mp5k sights lol
Finally the mp5 is meta again!! I hope they keep this mp5 ttk really good for rest of this game cycle. The mp5 is classic it should always be meta
Will you be doing the new kit for the renetti?
The fact that the rear grip is blocked sucks so much. The grip is my go to attachment for MW2 guns in MW3
Speaking of hidden conversions, didnt they added one for renetti recently?
Noticed, at least in the Firing Range, the Shroud (with or without the kit) doesn't seem to have a 4-shot kill. That just a bug with the Firing Range or is there a discrepancy in actual stats vs reported stats damage and/or range wise?
It does have a 4 shot kill its just the first dummy is past its max damage range. Put the range barrel on and you'll see
@@MrKing-he3eo Yeah, used the target-finding optic and turned out the dummies are just a bit farther than the range markers would indicate. XD
So all's good.
Same with the renneti. It has a single burst aftermarket
That’s crazy they snuck it in there appreciate the info
There is also a new renetti kit available if you want to check it out
Video is done and scheduled for Sunday
@@TheXclusiveAce guess I'm coming with the flour and you have the cake done already 😂
CQB this Gun absolutely destroys, my fav SMG now.
I think it would be funny if they added an aftermarket part for the Deagles that resembles their newest weapon in real life. Apparently the makers of the Desert Eagle made a version of the weapon that shoots shotgun shells lol.
I ttied it day 1, it's all visual recoils, it's so good❤
the biggest issue i have with the lachman shroud, amp or not, is the reload (i dont know if its the same on the sub as i havnt actually bothered unlocking it yet) the fact that you effectively always do an empty mag reload really hurts this thing and doesnt make any sense at all logically
Fun fact the real life gun this is based on is burst only. It's not just a suppressed mp5
I like it I use it mainly on the smaller maps
@TheXclusiveAce How does it stack up to the REGULAR Lachmann Sub from last year?
The comparison is shown several times throughout the video and the title is referring to the Lachmann Sub from MWII. This AMP is far better.
@@TheXclusiveAce Sorry about that. I kind of jumped the gun here. Thought the title meant regular Lachmann SHROUD, which was a given.
Read the title. lol
I have hoped that you tell us what challenge we need to do 😄
This part is also broken in MWZ, as soon as you pack-a-punch it it converts back to a burst :(
So, where do you find the challenge for this?
In the firing range, this is not 4 shot killing even at the 10 metre dummy. Is the gun bugged or is it the firing range?
Best looking gun ever
cant wait to see how Treyarch's Lachmann Sub holds up in BO6s mp.
This kit seems pretty good, but I feel like your semi-auto build for the base gun is kinda just better? I guess this is easier to use.
I think the semi-auto build could still apply to the kit. I think that damage went unchanged.
Try moving your thumb precisely on a thumbtack while maintaining a 520 rpm oscillation with your pointer/middle finger. It’s very very difficult to do, I know that I’m not physically capable of it personally. Maybe it’s easier on a mouse than controller but I don’t know
It's bugged in Zombies - turned into a burst gun again when pack-a-punched.
I can't believe you didn't share a tac stance build I only use this new conversation kit tac stance and movement no stock angle grip tac Lazer tac grip then the kit
On ammo type. I prefer flinch ammo on all my builds
So it’s a privilege to have full auto when the real gun comes with both FA/Burst
the short barrel makes ita monster in small maps
I am so sad that they removed the semi-automatic firing mode on this kit, I was using it and it was actually very fun for a challenge, especially on Hardcore, omg, but ugh, they removed it which really angers me... oh well...
Mfs (HANDLER) really tried to tell me this served no purpose. This is the TRUE MP5.
This is what I hate about modern COD, instead of buffing the Lachman Sub they add yet another attachment to buff some other gun into what the Lachman Sub should be for the sake of content
I think using this kit in semi auto is still worth it because of the BV boost
Once again we have another redundant gun for something that already exists lmao.
now we need something to fix them ironsights
This gun is capable of getting a 5.2 m/s ads strafe speed. That is the fastest in the game that I am aware of. That being said, it has atrocious recoil and a 15 round mag, but still fun.
The Superi can get 5.3m/s. Recoil is manageable, only downside really is 20 round mag.
@@TheJeverson dang I gotta use this instead now
Best thing is when you pack a punch it in zombies. It goes back to being burst lol
Could’ve sworn the rate of fire was higher? Or is it just the sound putting me off
Say what you want about 2019, but at least its attachments made sense.
Gods this game is a mess.
tbf lach shroud single fire mode still theoretically beats this in ttk
Why they couldn't let it have the option to switch between auto and 3-round burst is beyond me.
Thats how gun used to be until they decided to vribg 5x the same gun just different stats to the gsme. I mean mw22 is the viggest joke. Lms, lachman 556, lachman 762, lachman shroud, lachman sub
The JAK kit do change maximum fire rate in semiauto
While playing CoD a child told me they'd decimate my mum and I was most shooketh
It's all about that 0 vertical recoil Kastov lol
Mw3 is supposed to be a 2009 mw2 remake but its been an advance warfare remake weapon wise lol
It’s a 5 shot in the range but u saying it does 4 up close?
The first dummy is beyond the max damage range of this kit
@@TheXclusiveAce so the dummy is further than the 10 meters it says
Yeah. The scaling in the range is messed up and doesn’t align perfectly with the actual game
@@TheXclusiveAce thx for responding love ur content
@@TheXclusiveAce appreciate the work u put to letting people know what’s up
Not trying to nitpick, because your vids are good as always, but this is another example of 1. legitimate supplementing vs just filler and 2. a gun that can be included within another gun's options and toggles. Just saying.
Go try to run it with tac-stance build. It literally shreds people in cqb.
MW3 still around?
Day 1 of season 4 user
I can see what they MIGHT have been going with here - essentially a CQC sidegrade to the existing Lach Sub. Not very executed though, unfortunately.
Attachments stats got changed
Please more hardcore content 🙏
What's the point they'll just nerf it
So this is a recursive MP 5.
My favourite gun. I was enjoying this gun so much but today JAK REQUIEM get in my hand and this is the best gun I ever play 😂😂😂 it's like aimbot for me.
Nah that’s just you aimbot
@@krazykuz13cmc hahaha man you don't know what I'm taking about. But soon you will be playing this gun
Single fire lets you do at least 75 damage to the head. Haven't tested how viable yet. Took a break for this video after I unlocked it and did a little testing in the range.
@@Honeneko. You talking about kastov?
Dont u have all that visual clutter?
