Took me a lot of time researching prehistoric cormorants to realize that might just be the Japanese name for Spectacled cormorant. This species survived on Bering Island until 1850 (though was present in Japan 120,000 years ago), weighed 15 pounds, and was nearly flightless. It was also reportedly very delicious

Howdy from Tokyo Beav, not sure if you have a Labi / Yamada Denki around your area here in Japan, but they recently have loads of Jurassic toys on clearance. I picked up some of the collosal and other JWD figures for DIRT CHEAP. I haven't tried any of these JW gashapon, but I did get one of the hatching raptors gacha not too long ago, love it. Been obsessed with grabbing the Mattel minis too - they've got the old school Japanese keshi vibe ❤
