@@shikhachowdhury7169 some people dont like the kachha taste of sarso oil. But people in up bihar & North east love it. Sarso ka tel me zindagi bsi h😅 aap kbhi try kro. Bohot achha lgta h. Bs thoda sa last me. Agar tdke k time use kr rhe ho to it is very important to heat the sarso oil very well otherwise it will leave off its raw smell.

Being a Maharashtrian we don't use mustered oil but today I tried exactly same process mentioned by sambhavana and it was yummy to taste and every body in my home liked the baigan ka bharata .. expecting more recepies now 😀

Even I prefer simple cooking with easy ingredients available at home easily with no extra grm masala etc like spices
I prepared it twice the same way and believe me it just give a like phela sa pyaar vala swaad 😋😋

I forgot to take picture but i tried this recipe and it turned out great, superb
Remember to put 1 spoon daal in tadka first after then put the rest so the dal will not split out
