I read somewhere that Katya thought Alaska was faking for the cameras so that's why she responded like that.
Katya was robbed in both her seasons. She definitely should have won All Stars 2 and at lease made the finals in season 7. I love her so much.

Non Yu it’s not overreacting. Alaska wasn’t amazing by far. She did the same thing she did in season 5 and for some reason everyone was here for it. I mean her snatch game was great don’t get me wrong but she should not have been the winner. I would have settled for detox winning just cause of the growth from season 5 to all stars.

Let's be real, the whole lipstick picking is meant for the producers to know who the queens will send home beforehand. They wanted Tati out that episode so they went with Alaska since Katya chose Roxxxy to go home.

I have so much respect for Katya, because she's never kept her struggles hidden from anyone, she's very upfront about everything she's been through. Not to mention she's incredibly smart and hilarious. Seeing someone achieve so much and not letting their struggles get in the way is really inspiring.
I always enjoyed how neutral she was when it came down to the girls fighting.
Which is why all sides loved her. Both in S7 with the old hags vs dumb young kiddos, she stayed neutral even though she was arguably one of the older hags. Kids like Pearl, Violet, Fame etc loved her to death. In AS2 it was the same thing. Even when she wasn't eliminated when she should've, she took it well and the girls didn't drag it on to try and kick her out later bc she's just such a good presence to have around. I think the only person who probably felt threatened was Alaska, because she reminded her of Jinkx so bad. A loveable weirdo with comedy skills good enough to be even with her (or even surpass), with the only difference no one was willing to hate on Katya. Even though she felt threatened, I still don't feel like she hated her. You just can't hate Katya overall.

I absolutely unconditionally adore Katya. You have no idea how much her talk with Miss Fame spoke to me and helped me. At the time, I was applying for my master's degree and I was attacked from all sides with anxiety, self doubt and severe insecurity over whether or not I was gonna be accepted into any university. That talk made me relate so much and helped push forward and not give up; now I'm 2 days away from moving to NYC to pursue my master's at a fabulous university there. It's still terrifying and uncertain, but I won't let that detract from my goal. And part of that is thanks to her. Cause of the fabulous Katya can overcome her inner demons, then so can I. 😁😁😁😁😁
