The whole process of the butterfly landing on my hand took approximately 45 minutes!
This was a "life changing" experience for me! I was so entranced, that every single day after that, I would show up at 2:30 PM and extend my hand! Within 2 to 3 minutes she would land on it until the end of summer! No one has ever seen this video before!

This is the most precious video ever. Yanni's ability to communicate one on one with this beautiful being. They have an undeniable connection and his smile holding this butterfly is the sweetest moment. God, I love this video and I watch it every now and then because it displays how we truly can live in harmony with nature, but we must have this same respect and connection as Yanni has with Ms. Butterfly. Thank you so much for sharing this gem.
It's amazing how different people perceive and analyze the same situation from their very different and unique perspectives. The musician finds emotional inspiration from the touch of a butterfly and writes music, the scientist finds something interesting about the butterfly cognitive processes and writes a paper, the philosopher ponders about consciousness and neural networks in non-human living forms. All views are different, all views are necessary.
