I have bad news for you trevor. It's not the same run. The one AB throws isn't actually the "limited edition" run. It doesn't say limited edition. It's from a batch of like 25 that only Paul got from the first test run of premium plastic. Paul explains it in AB's first luna battle video. You can also see in AB's 2023 discraft in the bag that his luna doesn't have "limitd edition" on it. However, that is still a very desirable run of luna and very cool to have.
But is it the same mold? that's the most important part
I was gonna comment the same thing. The ones AB and Paul throw would sell for 100s in the collector market. This one is still rare and nice and OS though, cool disc!

I always loved the concept of a hyzer flip Raptor when Discraft pros talked about their bag so I bought a Big Z Raptor and I threw it off every hole I played for a month to season it in quicker. A year or so in, I can confirm a flippy raptor is money.
not sure if anyone has said this yet but even tho those lunas a absolute cash and super hard to find, what makes it crazier is that the ones paul and ab throws are even rarer. they weren't part of that ledgestone drop but instead just the first 20 or so big z lunas ever made. ab has a few, paul has most, and drew gibson funny enough has one of them. such a cool story for such a cool disc and I'm super jealous that you were able to get your hands on one!!!
but at the end of the day they are for all intents and purposed the same disc as you said trev

That Luna is a WAY better disc than the Shark, a lot more consistent. I don't think the boys will be able to trash talk it.
That 4th shot on hole 6 was awesome. Hyzer flip with a baby turn. Gorgeous.
For me, the 4 claw Zone. When I got into disc golf I saw Ulis and knew I had to have one. Years later I did and it’s never coming out of the bag.
The new z fly dye glow lunas are just as good! I have both and they fly identical

Ever since AB signed with Discraft I’ve wanted that Luna.
Dynamic Discs Marshal (especially in prime plastic) is my favorite putter to throw. It wasn't something that I envisioned before having the disc, but as soon as I got my first one in a player's pack and tried it, it has never left my bag. It is a general straight/stable thrower with a reliable fade at the end. After bagging one forever...it is a disc I can rip flat and it just coasts left to right (rbhh) and goes FOREVER!
Loved the look of the JP Votum and its Thoughtspace so I had to bag it. Now that I have for a while that disc is in Robbie C’s words my “precious child”. I think I might shed a tear if I ever lost it. It flies on any line so beautifully.
If you haven't tried one, Mint Discs Bullet in the Apex plastic is incredible to throw! Its so straight, can hold lines well and seems to fly forever. I have tried the Luna, Penny Putter, proxy and envy as well. I found with the Luna, proxy and Penny Putter, i couldnt power grip them or my finger gets stuck ender the rim and shanks right, just as you did here.
Im not able to hyzer flip my bullet, but thrown flat it turns slightly and comes back finishing "straight". The eagle envy also flies very well, but has a little more stability than i want most of the time.
For a putter it’s a cosmic fury 2, for a main thrower it’s a tie with the Ella Hansen origin or the zetas moon.

for me that disc is the PIG. Thanks to your buddy Robbie C. I was struggling to find an approach throwing putter for that 80-150ft range, and Robbie C showed me the PIG and I loved it before it even went in my bag. Before that though, the very first disc I ever bought was a base plastic destroyer, because I wanted to have a big boy arm and throw big boy discs, now that it's been beat in, it's my "Simon Line" driver, and I have like 4 holes in my local courses that I love to throw that on. So the destroyer, and the pig for me. As a point of reference, my longest throw ever (which was a total fluke) was 460ft according to Udisc, but on average I throw about 320. Both are still in my bag after 3 years
The disc, that I really latched onto first because of its reputation and has since made me a collector was the innova eagle. Original driver, older pros in the world threw it, as do new pros like Calvin. And searching for specific years and runs has been a growing passion of mine.
I have that disc I was really into that I’m obsessed with now.
I was avoiding new putters because I was trying to convince myself I needed to learn what I had.
Jumped on the pixel firm. Then soft as well. Love it. The “Point n shoot” is accurate. But I’m not great at throwing putters🤷♂️
Donatello was always my favorite Ninja Turtle. He was a nerd, just like me, and he used a Bo Staff, which was my favorite weapon when I was a kid. Keep up the content!!
I’m new to the sport (started in April this year), and the Star Mako3 is my go to for more or less any and all shots beyond circle 2. I can’t explain how comfortable that disc feels in my hand, regardless of what type of shot I’m looking down the pipe at.
The way you feel about this disc is how i feel about my battle roc that i had wanted for so long and finally decided to buy.

Have a Big Z Luna now that I never use, way too flippy. Used to have one of the 2020 tour series ones that I sadly lost but it was perfect. That 2020 discraft your plastic is so special

My beat up KC Pro Roc is my favorite disc. Love the 'lore' of them and the flight proves how great they are

Trev, i struggled with the same issue as you at 16:44 with pulling the disc right on my putt. I recently started putting with my index finger underneath the rim. And just like that i had a lot more spin on the disc and almost never miss right or left.
Give it a try for a round or so, i have struggled with my putt for years and finally found something that actually works.
It would have to be the Latitude 64 Keystone in the retro burst plastic. Crazily, I came across this putter in the Disc Golf Valley game. Loved how it threw in the game, so I went to my local disc golf store. There, I tried it out and fell in love with it. It’s an odd ball, not many people have it. But I enjoy rocking something unique. Feels great in my hand, and has a great flight to me. Now I own 4, (two in bag, two back ups).
Should have brought another regular Luna to compare the throwing of them
2020 TS Luna is the disc for me. My bag can’t live without one
That disc for me was the Innercore by Trash Panda! All those years they only made minis and seeing teasers of discs in videos and knowing they were coming, the second they announced their first dosc was a putter i couldnt get my hands on it fast enough!

I have a 4x mcbeth destroyer that I probably treasured too much when I first got it. But I have since worked it into my bag, throwing it much better than I used to, and is definitely my favorite disc now
The MVP Wave 11 5 -2 2 is what Simon was throwing rollers with but I got a light weight fission one in a gyro box for Christmas and man I can throw it on like a 10 to 20 degree hyzer (depending on wind) and it will flip up to flat slowly turn and then have a nice shot finishing hyzer and it’s a bomber disc for me but I think that a fission wave is probably one disc that might never leave my bag because it’s such an effortless flight to get out or the fission ones especially
I think you gotta use the control fan grip. Very difficult to get good control out of a 2 speed putter. Also, you wont get much additional distance from a power grip when throwing a 2 speed

Big Z Mantis. OG plastic and run, doesn’t have the name or BigZ label on it. Just the plain mantis stamp.
Buttery disc in the woods. I can hit any gap. Flip up and turn and doesn’t fade.
My second or first run fission photon! I can’t remember Lol! The old fission is so much better than the new fission. It just flips up and rides straight forever!
RAF was always my favorite to. He was the bad a$$ that didn’t take any crap.

Star Aviar is really similar disc. That is my beloved one. I found it from by buddies disc stash and got interested about it and first toss and I was sold.

My special disc before it was in my bag is the DGA ice SteadBL it is exactly like my old 2020 TS Luna and it my go to disc for sure :)
total eclipse envy for me, i used to throw just a normal eclipse one but after i lost it i decided to get the otb 23 one. its so good, i might have a mental breakdown if i ever lose that thing.
Zone is my go to disc in most all situations!
Innova made FD. I actually like the new discmania FD more because of its understability but the Innova made sure does fly amazing.

seeing simon throw the dyed pd that he had while with discmania i had find that kind of flight in one. i was able to find a 170 gram yellow c-line one with a slight dome. had one friend dip dye the red and another stencil a trifly on it. it has beat into the best point and shoot control driver. the day it leaves my bag is the day it is lost for good
I found a soft ATOM and it turned into my favorite hyzer flip throwing putter, then i saw ab throw the yellow luna and now i throw an assortment of lunas lol
As someone who wanted you to permanently get the Shark out of your bag, please never get rid of that Luna.

My “special” disc is the 11x teebird. I knew it was a money run and as soon as I felt one I knew it was going in the bag for a looong time
I have one of those, the best TeeBird I’ve ever thrown. I don’t bag it because I’m afraid of losing it.

When I found the spin by mvp. The disc is absolutely awesome. A slightly under stable putter that I can get 300/350 out of every time. I love my Hex, Matrix, Uplink, Wave, Zenith and now the Detour. What a line up of discs

But as of right now my cash is extremely strapped, so I really have to throw what I got and that’s a lot of MVP/Axiom/Streamline. I also have a few Discmania discs I like to throw. I really would like to try the Diamond, the River, the Fuse, the Pure, and the hope. Maybe one day when I have the money. But anyways, love ya bro. I enjoy your videos, as well as those from Foundation. I come by the store in Bedford but y’all were closed. Maybe soon I can make it to Lynchburg. Keep Spinning those discs.

Because I throw MVP/Axiom/Streamline the best that’s what they get me. Then they get to complain that I out throw them most of the time. I also forgot my Watt. The best approach disc I’ve ever had. I can land that almost 100% of the time inside 25’ of the basket. My friends say it’s a daggum cheater disc b/c of this. LOL!!!

That is correct. Trev got some bad info. The one he has is still rare and more OS than most Lunas but not the same as the ones Paul and AB throw

I love my OG BigZ Luna, it seems to be the only luna with dome which is why I think they are more stable, all other lunas are flat and I've thrown every type of luna. The Kratos is the most comparable, I think Lunas should be 0,1
just get a proton anode it flies like a stable luna and feels like a luna IMO
