Repair of Kato GE ES44AC Locomotive

This locomotive was purchase off Ebay and was described as not running and missing parts. Locomotive does come with DCC board so I took a chance to see if it could be repaired. Also I do get the front and back repair work mixed up and I apologize for that.

Thank you for sharing your video. I recently did some maintenance on my U.P. ES44AC and the little piece came off from under the body by the back handrails and I wasn’t sure where it went. Thanks to your video it is now back on the locomotive. Thank you again for sharing.

Great video Jack. I always preferred TCS vs Digitrax as far as smoothest of Loco performance. I don't think they make anything for us N scalers with sound.

You are correct, nothing that is easy to install on the sound side from TCS. My other ES 44 AC uses a DigiTrax sound card.
