Rookie Racer, Six Flags, St. Louis, MO

Ok, Ok...I will admit when I am wrong. Rookie Racer opened in 2024. It was built by Vekoma. This company is known for its more gentle rides that pushes into the more intense for families and those that do not want to be thrown down a 300 ft hill at 90+ mph. I was a little bummed to hear Six Flags St. Louis was adding it. I was wrong as I believe it is a wonderful addition after visiting and riding. The location is great. Tucked next to the towering The Boss and the soon to be built The Joker, one of the world's tallest pendulum rides. I was impressed with this "kiddie coaster" as its structure is actually real coaster structure. Most kiddie coasters are built sort of like carnival rides that be taken up and moved in a few days. This ride feels like, looks like a bigger coaster. The trains, the queue, the lift hill and theming. THIS is setting our youngster up to love the big coasters. It makes total sense! The young ones on this ride had hands up and were having a blast. The speakers were neat, the track was smooth and it was just a fun little coaster. Do we call this a Junior Coaster? Smart move Six Flags, St. Louis. Both hands up in approval by my junior rider of the day!
