Wow Are u allowed to walk on the track now? Was banned so far as I am aware. I could also hear a malabar whistling thrush when u announced sighting of the Goa express at about 1:25 on the video
Feb 2015 we got stuck at DWF when multiple goods trains guards didn't allow us to board. Station master was very helpful he offered part of his dinner to us before we began our unexpected trek towards Kulem at 9 Pm approx. Temperatures dropped very quickly we couldn't breathe properly and we were in basic clothing. After a 90 minute trek finally four alone WDP4* engine were going towards kulem. With multiple mobile flashes could acknowledge loco pilot, he was kind enough and allowed us to board engine side space. Warmth from engine was soo great that helped us to keep warm. I could still remember all our fingers got thar black. Words from Loco pilot share your experience with people and ask people not to Visit DWF by tresspassing. After avoiding multiple stray dogs at kulem station we started our journey back to Hotel near Baga with empty stomachs and chilling winds from Molem. We could find a Hotel at Pond Y cross Amigo i guess,that soup we drank there was Nectar for us then. Guys advice from my side make sure you have atleast 5-6 hours of day light when you get down at falls from train. Goods train guards are not allowing people to board trains these days.
Railways opened up Dudhsagar for public now. They also had a dedicated train on weekends for tourist. Agree, it was really difficult before to reach and move out of Dudhsagar by rail
@@NatarajanC12119 yes weekend service is good.I got down from Amaravathi exp and boarded Passenger after spending some healthy time.But there are restrictions on tresspassing on tracks and problems from RPF these days.
Yes, All the trains going down the ghats have a mandatory halt for break test. Only Goa Express used to stop while going to Castle rock. Not sure about the current practice. There used to be a dedicated train for tourist not sure if it will continued in Future
