‘কৌশলগত অংশীদারত্ব’ থেকে ‘ব্যাপক কৌশলগত সহযোগিতামূলক অংশীদারত্ব’ উন্নীত হতে ২১টি সমঝোতা স্মারক ও চুক্তি এবং ৭টি ঘোষণাপত্রে সই করেছে বাংলাদেশ ও চীন। এর মধ্যে ২টি সমঝোতা স্মারক নবায়ন করা হয়েছে।
বুধবার (১০ জুলাই) দুপুরে বেইজিংয়ের ‘গ্রেট হল অব দ্য পিপল’ এ সফররত প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা এবং চীনের প্রধানমন্ত্রী লি কিয়াংয়ের উপস্থিতিতে দুই দেশের মধ্যে এসব চুক্তি-সমঝোতা এবং ঘোষণাপত্র সই হয়।
চুক্তি ও সমঝোতা স্মারক সইয়ের আগে গ্রেট হলে দুই দেশের প্রতিনিধিদের নিয়ে দ্বিপাক্ষিক বৈঠক করেন লি কিয়াং এবং শেখ হাসিনা।

চিনের সাথে রেলপথ দরকার ছিল জরুরি ভিত্তিতে। বাংলাদেশের 50 % আভাব মুক্ত হবে। ইন্ডিয়া কে পুরো দেশ দিলও অভাব মুক্ত হবে না।
