Stefan betrayed Maleficent so he could be King but what he never thought was the wicked thing he did to poor Maleficent would exactly happen to his own grand daughter. I hope he at least realizes how it feels to be betrayed and how painful it is when you backstab someone who trusts you more than anything. We all thought Mal was the one who would be singing this song but no baby now the tables have turned and she holds the key!

Listening to it 3 years later the lyrics just hit a bit differently now understand what she went through, and how she wasn't always the villain. Her actions are justified because she had her whole life set up and she had to watch it crumble. All because Mal really stole her man and she never got an apology until the last movie and all of society left her behind and didn't care. Mal was a victim but she wasn't all that innocent. So I am happy that in Descendants 3 she got that closure she needed.

Audrey had the best song in the whole movie and a great reason to turn into a villain but all they did with her was keeping her screaming at the scepter and doing practically nothing. I honestly was so hyped for having Audrey as the Evil Queen but I ended up a bit disappointed. (still Sarah did so well, I love her)
I agree. Her plan was so bad and except for that one short scene where she turned Mal into a hag she did almost nothing. The only thing she did was hang out in the fairy cottage. Also hated the end when she turned back into a 'good' girl. She just apologized and all was well?
Not really I wasn't disappointed because literally throughout all the movies isn't that what all the "villains" did they sat on the side lies doing small stuff till a small battle. But at the same time Audrey did so much more then most she turn Mal to an old woman made the town fall asleep turned some into stone and THEN she hid out and even with that she did the time with the knights and still turned most of the VKs into stone. Listening to it 3 years later the lyrics just hit a bit differently now understand what she went through, and how she wasn't always the villain. Her actions are justified because she had her whole life set up and she had to watch it crumble. All because Mal really stole her man and she never got an apology until the last movie and all of society left her behind and didn't care. Mal was a victim but she wasn't all that innocent. So I am happy that in Descendants 3 she got that closure she needed.

Well mouse did say at the end of descendants three and I guess that’s what you’re getting at that she said I owe you an apology for a long time now, so yeah, I’m happy Mel’s set up an apologize for that I mean, like you said she would. I’m happy you just say Mel was a victim because a lot of people are criticizing her like you know like she’s this evil person, but I know she was a victim to you know she grew up not having anything you know, and she grew up not feeling like you know, loved or cared by her mother that’s all she wanted was the proof of her mom and that love and she try to please her mom and to be fair when she first per been under that spell she did it to try to please her mom to, because if you remember, she did feel guilty for praying Monday spells. She want to take them off the spell but it all came back to her mother because she’s trying to get that one in to please her mom because she wanted to make her mom love her and be happy, that’s what she wanted but yeah I’m happy she got there closer in apology from both Ben and Mal cause you know remember if she got an apology from both she got an apology from both of them and I’m happy she did. She deserved it she didn’t deserve that apology.

Audrey had the best song in the whole movie and a great reason to turn into a villain but all they did with her was keeping her screaming at the scepter and doing practically nothing. I honestly was so hyped for having Audrey as the Evil Queen but I ended up a bit disappointed.

I agree. Her plan was so bad and except for that one short scene where she turned Mal into a hag she did almost nothing. The only thing she did was hang out in the fairy cottage.
Also hated the end when she turned back into a 'good' girl. She just apologized and all was well?
Not really I wasn't disappointed because literally throughout all the movies isn't that what all the "villains" did they sat on the side lies doing small stuff till a small battle. But at the same time Audrey did so much more then most she turn Mal to an old woman made the town fall asleep turned some into stone and THEN she hid out and even with that she did the time with the knights and still turned most of the VKs into stone. We all also have to remember it's a Disney musical type of movie we aren't going to get hard core fighting sense. Just saying
MRSN the point was to have her apologize because she felt bad for taking it out on all of Auradon the sleep spell helped her realized that not everything in the history of the world is Mal’s fault or the rest of Auradon’s half of it was Audrey’s she was faking being nice rather than actually being nice. She faked it,she was taking people for granted,convincing people to be mean instead of nice,and only concerned for herself,bossing people around in a bad way...etc... She’s suppose to be Aurora’s daughter and Aurora is the sweetest person of all.
