This colony chairman is a power monger fuel by fuedal cave mentality of might is power. Using religion( prayer) as a cover up is objectionable n he does not have any role in this polling exercise nor the SEC has appointed them to supervise the election process. No powers to them by SEC then why give them importance. The media should focus on presiding officers and sector magistrates as how they have allowed these people to indirectly influenced the polling station.

We should learn a lesson from this election. GBs and council chairmen should only be involved in pre-poll preparations such as voter slip verification. On election day the polling stations must be totally manned by polling officials and security forces. GBs and council members/chairman should only be assisting the administration for law and order at a specified distance beyond the perimeters of the polling stations.

I went 5rm 6.30am waited 4 so many hrs bt when I enter 2 vote.. I ws told that my vote hs aldrly cast ... sad.. came back without voting ..
When somebody has already casted your vote by proxy ... Still you can vote by tender ballot ...polling officials cannot deny you your voting right.. but polling officials will never tell you because it's like officially declaring that proxy vote has taken place in their polling station and they are liable to face a very serious consequences. Next time if such cases arise demand to cast your vote by tendered ballot nobody can deny you it's your right.
