slim is underestimated ngl he performs much better in his weight class
I love both slim and gib, its truly a 50/50 fight. Gibs chin is suspect but he is a cardio monster and keeps the pressure on his opponent for 6 rounds straight. Slim on the other hand is very unorthodox and unpredictable with his boxing ability and has genuine power in his punches, but his cardio is trash. Its going to be intriguing for sure.
Thing is gib likes to exchange punches. If he does that with slim he’s getting knocked out

It really seems like a 50/50 until you look closer. Slim has a nearly 10 inch reach advantage and thats serious. Slim doesn't really utilize his reach in matches though as he's usually an inside boxer.

Why does slim feel disrespected about what was said about his uncle? His uncles credentials speak for themselves and needs no defending nor justification. His opponents words about his uncle is the literal equivalent of a person calling an apple an orange. Everyone besides his opponent knows the truth and so playing this situation off as a call to stand up for the honour of his uncles name in boxing is mute and whimsical. If his uncle wasnt known and his training talents were without world champion alumni then defending his uncle and his unwritten story is worth standing up for. But seeing his uncle has world pedigree under his built and spanning a successful career the need to stand up for him is as important as proving an apple is not an orange to a deranged individual. Not an underdog story nor a real moral high ground position scenario. Aside from this diatribe from me I do like Slims boxing prowess and his uncles training is honoured via slims performances always. Great fight ahead of us here
He is actually not his uncle, he just calls him uncle cause he is older. But he is a world class trainer, and he doesn’t want him to be disrespected like that

Thinking about this again after your correction above, it makes sense that if he feels enough attachment to his trainer to refer to him as uncle, ie like family, my former comment holds less water. I cannot argue against wanting to defend his trainer when he has such a strong bond with the guy. Knowing this changes the dynamic for me. Real family is life long understanding. I don't need to defend someone I've known prove themself in all my life. But if your connection is more recent and the affiliation referred to as being family like through terms of endearment: I can see cause for wanting to defend ones name when it's from a more recently formed bond. I'll concede to you here so. I jumped the gun in my last comment
