Huh, I didn't know that! Thanks :) Most monsters ignore it if they see you put it down, so I never figured to use it against anything other than Deviljho. I may make an addendum to add things I've missed sometime, we'll see. Specifically, the wiki says: "If the hunter drops meat mid-battle, Congalala may stop to eat it. This trait can be utilised by dropping drugged, tainted and poisoned meat. The Congalala indicates that it is going for the meat when it stands on its hind legs and sniffs the air. It may take more than one meat to inflict the desired effect."
When it takes a while to go after a meat, I exit the zone and go back in, it should go for it almost immediately. Also, it'll get paralyzed/poisoned/asleep on the first meat, but it'll require more for the second time.

Can you help me understand the game? I played MH on ps2 back when i was a kid, now in MHW im playing Hammer/GS/Bow/LS all like a pro and i wanted to try out MHFU on vita but i dont understand many aspects and just bad at it. Ofc hammers are extremely slow compared to MHW so my starting hammer hunts were a disaster, i dont want to play bow with these controls so my options are GS/LS and i can learn SnS. Is it possible to have various weapon builds in this game? How does making a build work in this game? How does defence work? How do i start hunting in this game? After i finished training i went for the Bulldrome and got rekt by the small monkey spawns 3 times, i dont even know hpw to increase my max health on a hunt. And yes i've completed all the training section head to toe.
Well... lol, it's definitely different than MHW and even MH3u and MH4u etc When I first started out, I had to use Longsword, everything else felt so slow to me, and SNS felt too weak, not to say that it is, because it definitely isn't. Since you have a bit of experience with MH, I'd say Great Sword is very good as well. It lacks a few features like a stronger charge or the incredible (IMO) tackle from world, but it's still mostly the GS you know and love. You can have various builds, but I guess it depends on what you mean by that. I'll make a video covering armor skills sometime, but basically no skill is activated unless you have at least 10 points of it somehow. So if you want an AuS (attack up small) You need 10 attack points, which can be obtained through various means, for example maybe your helmet has +3, and your chest piece has +3, maybe your gauntlets have +1 and your waist armor has a "include torso skills" which will mimic the skills your torso piece has, which can be extremely powerful, but anyways, that'd give you 10 in "Attack" and activate the armor skill "Attack Up (Small)" in this case. Defense works like in all the MH games, the more defense you have the less damage you'll take. Try to keep in mind what elements monsters deal and what resistances your gear has though, but generally speaking try to get your defense stat as high as possible while also keeping in mind the armor skills you want. You can increase your health like in any MH game, by eating food, though... lol... in MHFU you had to trial and error somewhat. I'll make a video covering felyne chefs as well, but for now; each food is in a category, like, meat, fish, fruit, drink, etc. and combining those types will give you different buffs.... or... in MHFU... sometimes debufs... haha I don't want to make this longer than it is, so, I'm going to leave you with some links monsterhunter.fandom.com/wiki/Armor_Skill_List_(MHFU) here's a list of the armor skills in MHFU gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/943356-monster-hunter-freedom-unite/faqs/56911 here is a guide for felyne chefs, detailing how to get certain buffs gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/943356-monster-hunter-freedom-unite/faqs/57283 here's a great guide telling you what the best weapon you can get at what level you're at www.mediafire.com/folder/4o1idj7mmtn85/Monster_Hunter And here is an *insanely* helpful program to help you find an armor set with the skills you want. It's a great game even if you've played a more modern version of it, this game isn't any better or lesser than any other MH game. IMO it really stands on its own. The restrictiveness and "lack" of newer features kind of cements it in that regard, gives it its own feeling and tactics you have to do. It's definitely a bit harder than MHW in some ways, for sure, and I'm not going to say it's perfect. May i ask what is the control binding of your controller, especially the camera?? You always seem to have brilliant tracking of the monsters, even while your character is moving.
I put the d-pad control on the d-pad, and also put left and right on the right stick. For up and down I put it on the clicking in of left and right sticks, left stick is down, right is up.
@@HeadHunter455 Is binding the d-pad with the right analog stick a very clear improvement or will there times when I have use the claw method with the d-pad?
Yeah it can work pretty well, just be careful and remember to block. He's a little fast but is slower than his monkey brothers, the cold boi and the (very angry) thunder boi. Good luck! 🙂
I mean, you can use bombs if you want? Congalala moves around a lot, so it'll be hard to. I wouldn't recommend it, you don't really need it, unless you're using, like, a ranged weapon with sleep ammo. I hope my video helped you out :)
Greatswords favor raw damage over elemental and status almost all of the time, I think even in late game, but you can use the Barbaroi Blade if you want, at this level of the game there wont be too much difference as long as you have green sharpness that wont run out too fast.
It's honestly really obvious when a monster is limping. They most often will limp away as they're running, but if you do too much damage too quickly, you won't see it. I may cover the unique tells for certain monsters, but for a bunch of them, you're better off getting the skill that shows when they can be captured and not worry about trying to tell from an animation/change, depending on the monster. Some are extremely obvious like kut-ku where you can tell right away.
First fire Longsword can be obtained in Village 4, this quest is in Village 2 Also, early on, elemental weapons, typically, aren't very good, unfortunately. Raw damage will usually deal more damage overall than a weak elemental weapon. But if you have one, you can if you want 🙂
Not from Congalala, that's for sure. Monoblos hearts are very rare from Monoblos. You have a higher chance of getting it from captures, so try that. There's also a chance he'll drop it as a shiny, so try and get him stuck in a wall at least once or twice, that should cause it to drop a shiny.
Talking about armors, a tip: On low and High ranks don't spend much time doing the best armors, just get a few decent ones with useful skills and just hunt and rank up. Only when you reach G Spot, I mean Rank, then get the best armors. THE REASON?? Since armors don't evolve like weapons :( its a WASTE OF TIME, for example: trying to Rathalos Rubies to get Silver Rathalos High Rank armor, then getting to Rank G and realizing that armor you spent so much time getting, has TOO LOW defense to fight G Rank monsters. Instead just make a good generic armor, hunt, rank up, make Silver Rath G Rank armor; you'll get PLENTY of rubies before getting a Celestial Scale.
Yep, I recommend an armor set in all of my hunting videos, I try and get ones that aren't absurdly difficult to get for little payoff, like silver rathalos.

I meeaan, I'd definitely spend 1,500z on sunset herbs, like, one time, when I can get like 4,000z per hunt if I just sell everything, so 🤷♀️
nah, it's just me being obsessed with money even tho I'll never need to farm them

I don't remember exactly the formula for energy drinks, but like, if you have raw meat just cook it and go for well done steaks.
The recipe is Sunset Herb + Honey

Probably just the Battle Set, from the cat. I don't know when it unlocks though, but at that point you're very limited in terms of options, so
@@HeadHunter455 oh ok thanks for the tip
I found this video right after i finished the mission.... Fuck me
Haha, well, I hope maybe now that you've found me that my other videos might help you out! 😄😄
Dude, can you make a video on how to destroy the congalala with dual sword please
Aim for his legs, like I said at the start of the quest.
Don't over commit, you can get stuck in combos with dual blades.
I used the bone katana wolf to destroy the congalala and succeeded
Hehehe poopy blight
😩😩
I main gunlance, is it good against him?
Yeah it can work pretty well, just be careful and remember to block.
He's a little fast but is slower than his monkey brothers, the cold boi and the (very angry) thunder boi.
Good luck! 🙂
@@HeadHunter455 so fighting the filthy fatty tummy boi with gunlance is better than the pride muscler faster boi you say
I am using giaprey armour and blango destroyer to defeat this monster , but i couldn't any advice and somehow the bombs are not usable in the fight
I mean, you can use bombs if you want?
Congalala moves around a lot, so it'll be hard to.
I wouldn't recommend it, you don't really need it, unless you're using, like, a ranged weapon with sleep ammo.
I hope my video helped you out :)
@@HeadHunter455 this game is tough man 😂😂
@@HeadHunter455 well today i finally defeated it 😂😂😂feeling proud of myself

Can i use barbori blade cuz it has fire attributes and congalala is weak at fire pls reply
Greatswords favor raw damage over elemental and status almost all of the time, I think even in late game, but you can use the Barbaroi Blade if you want, at this level of the game there wont be too much difference as long as you have green sharpness that wont run out too fast.

I've been scared a wasp is name frank
That wasp 😃
Please make videos of capturing every boss, show us the difference between healthy and a limping boss
Can i use a fire blade cuz thats where he is weak
First fire Longsword can be obtained in Village 4, this quest is in Village 2
Also, early on, elemental weapons, typically, aren't very good, unfortunately.
Raw damage will usually deal more damage overall than a weak elemental weapon.
But if you have one, you can if you want 🙂
any tips for how to kill it with a bowgun?

How to get monoblos heart?
Not from Congalala, that's for sure.
Monoblos hearts are very rare from Monoblos.
You have a higher chance of getting it from captures, so try that.
There's also a chance he'll drop it as a shiny, so try and get him stuck in a wall at least once or twice, that should cause it to drop a shiny.
I m using the long sword to call dark scythe
Nice :)
If I may ask, are you playing this at 30 FPS?
Yes, the game plays natively at 30 fps, if you ran it any higher it would run faster.
I see. I try to run it 30 Fps but sometimes it speeds up for no reason :/
Talking about armors, a tip:
On low and High ranks don't spend much time doing the best armors, just get a few decent ones with useful skills and just hunt and rank up.
Why don’t we make videos together? This game is available on IOS and I am sure multiplayers will be fun. Might ever spur more subscribers/followers.
Sorry I don't have an iPhone.
Nice your using long sword
Yep :)
Anyone still playing unite? Pm me
Here boii

Congalala farts angrily
😢
He's not even that hard I beat him back when unite came out and I still had no idea what was going on in the game.
Emerald congalala actually hardest one, multiple shit throw and faster than normal, you can found in G rank
