Love the green. Best color in the world. I'm watching you while I'm on the phone, so not getting the narrative. Just wanted to say hi and job well done; inspiring. Must subscribe to this creative lady. I'll be watching.
I sprayed our toaster orange during the summer but I never thought to spray a sewing machine. I have an old metal singer which is currently a glorious shade of brown that is crying out for a makeover
hmmm, I just might have to use the leftover metallic purple I used on my rivet press. My Juki can match!! I imagine it's not too difficult to take off the hand wheel and reverse lever?
I’m in the middle of renovating my sewing room and I have an old industrial machine that I told my hubby last night I wanted to paint her up and make her pretty after she’s had her service... she’s well overdue and has always been a great machine. Event though I don’t really need her now I just don’t want to part with her... well not yet anyways but may have to as I have 2 new industrial machines on their way 😂
Oh and by the way I LOVE how your machine turned out. She’s beautiful and she’s definitely been a great workhorse for you and all the things you sew too. Thanks for sharing the inspiration to actually go ahead and paint my machine too.
After you painted, did the base have a smooth finish or a matte finish, meaning did the stuff you sew glide over the finish, or did it feel a little rough since you didn't apply a clear coat to make it slippery smooth
This is awesome! My new industrial will be here in a couple of days & I'm thinking she NEEDS to be painted! I have an airbrush I wonder if that would work?
❤️ it! Green is my fav color, I have a green jeep that I call the green machine. I wish I could do this but my singer 4423 has plastic pieces on it, I don’t know how it would work.
Fantastic! Did I your nose hairs get funky by the spray paint? My domestic is a plastic of some nature, I am stuck with. 💬 look out if your fridge is metal, it could soon be green!
@@SeamsLegit thank you so much for your speedy reply xxx. I’m really tempted in doing this to my brother industrial machine. Just not sure on how to remove the hand wheel and the reverse.
I’d be scared to death to gum up my tension or get paint inside the machine near the thread take up. I like the color of my machine, it’s white and purple.
@@SeamsLegit That paint is a hard lacquer that will chip easily. Colour is personal preference but there are far better paints you could have used that are much tougher and provide better thickness. 90% of what was in your can is solvent that just evaporates.
If I wasn't terrified of taking my machine apart, I'd do this in a heartbeat. Green is my favorite color too.
My Juki has oil ports all over it. It would need to be thoroughly cleaned so the paint would stick. Love the results, but I'm too lazy to try this.
Looks great 👍🏼 we can all have personalised machines! Need to master sewing on mine first though 🤭
Beautiful greens..love green
I can't believe how clean you've stayed. Great job!
Awesome. Enjoyed you sharing with us. Nice job and love the colors
😀💚😀 You are amazing! It look so bright! Happier, if I can say so? Lovely! Didn't even know I could do this! Thank you! 💚😀💚
You are so brave and crazy I love it!!!
So brave. I would never have the nerve to do this. It looks great! You never cease to amaze me with your many talents!
I would love to paint my machines! I hope my boss doesn't mind. On the other hand, he probably would not even notice for a while!
Love what you did to your machine .Green is my favorite color.
Love that you completely did this. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Tori,
I think this was very interesting tutorial . Thank you for sharing and the sewing looks awesome.
Looks so beautiful! So satisfying to watch. Now off to spray paint everything in my sewing room :)
Looks really sharp...you have so many talents i am envious...
You do so many things! Glad you were able to paint your Machine!
Stunning! Green’s my favourite colour as well, is a super creative redo

I love that color! Your hair looks nice too
Awesome. As usual great job done. I like the dark green more but that is my taste. Enjoy the new look.
You are brave to attempt this! Turned out great!
Great color choice! Love it!
I sprayed our toaster orange during the summer but I never thought to spray a sewing machine. I have an old metal singer which is currently a glorious shade of brown that is crying out for a makeover
Looks fab, excellent job, if I was let lose with a spray can, knowing me the walls and windows would match the machine😂
hmmm, I just might have to use the leftover metallic purple I used on my rivet press. My Juki can match!! I imagine it's not too difficult to take off the hand wheel and reverse lever?
I would love to do mine in pink.... of course! Great job 💗
Looks really good.

Great job Tori, she looks like new
That came out so nice.
This is a different type of bravery!
After you painted, did the base have a smooth finish or a matte finish, meaning did the stuff you sew glide over the finish, or did it feel a little rough since you didn't apply a clear coat to make it slippery smooth
It did glide. But after excessive use, so of the paint has come off
That turned out awesome!
Absolutely beautiful!
I got second hand high watching your video lol 😂 good job
Fun color!
Love it and I love that you’ve completely personalised it to your own style and taste. If I had an industrial I’d paint her red and/or pink.
Baby pink would be adorable on it
Awesome job
Has it held up to scratches and wear well?
Mostly. I should have put more clear coats on it, but only next to the base plate did it come off. And that's from the clips hitting it alot
Cool thanks

Omg if you xan draw that would be epic!!!!
@@SeamsLegit im not very good at it yet BUT that's why God gave us stencils! 😆 so the real question is WHAT should go on "Star" ??!
❤️ it! Green is my fav color, I have a green jeep that I call the green machine. I wish I could do this but my singer 4423 has plastic pieces on it, I don’t know how it would work.
Just buy a plastic paint primer.
@@SeamsLegit Ohhh thank you! I didn’t know that existed lol
Looks beautiful . The paint won't get into the machine and ruin it?
Very very 😎 cool!
Fantastic! Did I your nose hairs get funky by the spray paint? My domestic is a plastic of some nature, I am stuck with. 💬 look out if your fridge is metal, it could soon be green!
Annie Rodenberg: There are spray paints for plastic , usually very close to other spray paints on the shelf. Good Luck. have fun.
Nice! So no poly clear coat? But I love the way it looks!!
Brilliant!
💕💕💕
I’ve been looking for a video like this. Has the paint lasted and does this ruin the machine?
So far only a tiny bit of paint near the plate has come off. Didn't wreck my machine at all
@@SeamsLegit thank you so much for your speedy reply xxx. I’m really tempted in doing this to my brother industrial machine. Just not sure on how to remove the hand wheel and the reverse.
Did u need to sand between the primer and the colour?
I didn't. No
I want pint pink mine with black legs 🥰
I ended paint it the machine all white and I love it! Thank for the empower
Wow that’s epic ❤️❤️❤️
Does it last?
It has lasted pretty well so far
hugs from pam glad see you a gain ben so busy on channle
I’d be scared to death to gum up my tension or get paint inside the machine near the thread take up. I like the color of my machine, it’s white and purple.
May I ask, how did you avoid getting paint into the small openings? P.S. Great job by the way
Masking taped everything :)
مااسم مادة طلاء بعربي اكتبي لي
Looks awesome, but aren’t you suppose to wear a mask when you are using that spray paint? 😷
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Those fumes are very harmful for you.
It turned out so nice, love the colors!💚💚💚
Eeek. Had to turn the sound off for the sanding.
Poor sewing machine, all that hard work it did only to end up like this.
i love my machine more with the green!
