I strongly agreed with ma'am and i'm really inspired of the way she took herself out from that typical and incompetant mindset. During my MS i also suffered a lot and then I decided i will never do PHD from pakistan under supervision of such incompetent supervisors. I also feel that we students are also responsible for destruction of our career. We all don't have enough courage to show unity and talk to higher management against these crooks if even higher management is with them we all students should strongly protest against our rights but that "fear of loosing GPA" is far more big than faith on Allah. These incompetent egoistic supervisors know that no student will speak against them if they know the power of unity of students they would never ever do it. May Allah give hadiyah to such people who have no fear of accountibilty in front of Allah. At the end they all will be accountable for each and every thing. May Allah also give us courage to stop injustice and take stand about our rights. ALLAH UNKI MADAD KARTA HA JO APNI MADAD KUD KARATY HAN

India main bhi yhi hal hai ma'am....I came to this video while searching for the direction I should be following after Ph.D and 18 months of research experience. Problem is same, I never got the level of support I needed, I was the one who was experimenting, curating the data, writing the papers, communicating with journals and what not and when I went to a very prestigious reseaech institution after phd thinking that at least I'll get some support from there....but I was wrong, there also they just used me, gave all the credit to their favourite students and I had to resign from there too....but now comes one other problem which is less no of reseach papers...it is beacuse I never got true credit. Now when I apply for teaching faculty posts, they ask why don't you have a good no of papers after so many years in research field.....don't know where to go....

I'm an Indian and I always talk about the lack of adequate investment in R&D in india. It is USD 160 B as per ppp and after this I looked at Pakistan's and it is only 2.4. I can't imagine what you must be going through if what we have here, we consider it to be not adequate.
Really true. During my M.phil my supervisor disturbed me through all sides and tortured me till end with less GPA due to not a being a part of this bad human. I always pray that may he died very badly. Ameen

Pakistan me research does not make sense since there are no further opportunities after PHD. institutes only care about there rating, supervisors only care about one more paper in their name. You raised very good points. now days people mostly applying phd in foreign countries to get out of Pakistan.
