Been there, though without all the proper and much needed PPE.. Sooo Nasty!, I was super sick for two months after.. Rats and mice love batt insulation of any type.. That word 'Remediation' should have legal definitions attached regarding work done in a home specially before a sale.. in this case looks like it was very loosely used..Very professional of you to not just burn it to the ground!
