I just planted a Gertrude Jeckyll with a view to have it climbing a trellis next to my front door. This video was so inspiring to watch, I hope I can get flowers in my first year! It’s only tiny so I’ll have to cross my fingers.

Over time, the canes have grown longer, so I needed to move it close to fence as long canes are giving shoots all over with flowers. Yes, you can train it, fix and support the long canes and you’ll have plenty of blooms to enjoy through summer . Good luck

How has it done? I got the shrub version too, waiting on her to arrive. Do you think it would climb some if trained in the shrub version?
