Some veggies like the sweet corn was blown right down to the ground from the wind but other than that everything seems to be doing very well. Also I would love to video at market but I wasn’t sure if I would get in trouble videoing the public without there permission. I need to look into it
@@BroyansFarm At the farmers markets,ask some of the customers after they make their veggie purchase, if you can ask a couple questions on camera as a promotion for your Family Farm. Emphasize Family. It's all about psychology

Watching this as you pick the broccoli, reminded me of a small pick-your-own plot in the suburbs we went to once. The woman would yell at the customers that didn’t cut the plant close to the ground, not thinking of more future growth on the plant and obvious income. Love watching your just found videos.

About 1970, we grew a crop of melons that averaged 60 kgs, each, took 2 men to lift them. Not sure what caused them to grow that big. A freak of Nature
I've heard your supposed to clip the watermelon and leave it for like a week is that true? I'm growing some moon and star ones and the tendrils are starting to die off🤷♀️🤔
@@BroyansFarm are you supposed to stop watering it before pulling? I keep seeing people say this in the gardening groups but then others say no. I think I'd rather get my info from you! Your farm is amazing 💜 absolutely love it and love watching the hills in the background!🤗
@@mandagdoublee2109 It might not be a bad idea to stop watering as long as it has grown to a good size. What will happen is if it gets too much water it will actually remove some of the sweetness out of the watermelon. That’s what happened to some of our cantaloupe and sweet corn after 6 inches of rain from hurricane ida
@@BroyansFarm I clipped one to try it and it was ready! But I think your right about being watered down it was very juicy, it had the sweetness but not as sweet as I've heard everyone rave about. Picking corn like this kinda like back in the 1900 where the black would work in the field, then the mexican took over, now even the mexican dont want to do it, so the owner now taking over the duty.

No, that is not true. We are check the belly and if it is yellow we pick it. The only other way we check besides that is tapping it
