It's funny, in the IDW comics a while back, there was actually a sort of globe-trotting high-speed date scene with Sonic and Blaze. It wasn't explicitly stated as a date, but they were out seeing the sights, eating food, allat. It was a date in everything but name. Personally, I approve of this ship, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of it.
