Regret that the software industry, including TCS a TATA company - TATAs known to uphold principles and employee concerns, could only do lip service to justice... Employee concerns can be achieved with a management/few individuals commitment to sharing techniques, reducing hours of work widening employment opportunities etc. I did that as best as I could at KELTRON a public sector...

I think your definition is not fair... but it seems to be ... you are coming by car to your office, but other guy had is a personal challenge like mother may be sick ....
after all... you are the one gave an idea about 12 hours labour suggestion to the government... So what else I can expect from you Mr. Narayana Murthy...

When Infosys was founded, India's Percapita gdp was $250. In parallel to innovation, we also need jobs at mass levels to built local industry.

If u say definition is not fair..then try yourself to find the definition of fair.......
But irony is that u don't have to talk about the jobs and economic impact that was created by INFOSYS...

Leadership? More like dumb luck. Some people and companies just happen to be in the right place at the right time and nothing more. Sorry, but Murthy is hardly the best person to give advice on 'Leadership'. If you want to see truly inspiring entrepreneurs and leaders in India and beyond, look beyond Murthy. Ratan Tata is a significantly better example.
