    She is so right, I took a friend who was doing home care for $7 an hour to my work. He was hire right away because of the relationship I had with my Boss. They were going to give him $14 an hour that was like 10 years a go. But he didn’t show up on his starting date and Boss call me to find out why he didn’t come. I call him to find out why he didn’t show up. To my surprise he said, he thought they were going to pay him same amount I was earning at that time $17. By then I have been working with the company for 5years. I agree with my sister

      Just look at what he was thinking about your pay and he doesn’t know you’re working for 5 years and he was new worker. Very greedy ungrateful person and I’m not surprised at all 😊😅

    I disagree with her about the rental part, I think it should be better to let the someone know your accommodation is for business so, whatever money he/she pays won’t affect him

    Why would you overcharge someone for taking over your apartment. Madam you can't do business or make profit out of government apartment. Please buy your house and charge whatever you want as rent.
    Some Ghanaians in the Bronx are wicked. My roommate and I were paying double the actual rent to a Ghanaian. The sad thing was the apartment was a government subsidized apartment. How on earth do you make profit out of government subsidized apartment? She lived for free and also made extra income out of us.

    Hmm, the hate, envy, lies and betrayal from Ghanaians abroad is nothing to write home about. Recently a Ghanaian guy coming to Canada as an international student found himself stranded, no place to sleep because of high rent, a Ghanaian residing in Canada asked the guy to come and stay at his place till he finds a place to rent. On the 3rd day the kind guy left for work and forgot something so he went back home to fetch it. As he entered his place he saw the guy in bed with a girl, this was the third day the guy arrived in Canada. Apparently the guy met the girl on a bus, so the kind man asked the guy to leave. A guy went to the UK and was living there illegally, because he didn't have any legal documents he used a friend's documents to work, and all his pay went to the friend's bank account. When it came to a time that the guy wanted his money, his friend played a trick on him, he said he will take him out driving, then he purposely went through the Red light and they were stopped by the police. His friend told the police that the guy doesn't have his papers, the police told him that this is immigration matter and that they don't deal with that, they give traffic tickets. I have never seen any other race hate each other like Ghanaians do. You can't invite them to your place, they want to see what you have and how you live so they can compete or insult you if they have more than you. I have seen Filipinos, Indians, Italians etc unite and work together and help each other, especially the Filipinos, two of them will buy a house together and live in it in tranquility till its almost paid off then they will use the money to buy a second house for the second person, an African will never do that. Why the hate. There are so many sad stories about not just Africans in abroad but their families back home also scamming them.

      You buddy in the UK 🇬🇧 here if hear some stories, even I have seen in our work places. Most Ghanaians are evil 😈. That's why kwame Nkrumah detained Most of them after the independence which supposedly to be happy days. Rawlings did the same he killed. He admitted killing 230 people. That's officially the one he signed for, but the rest is gone to gutter. Ghanaians' attitude in life is bad, envy and jealousy, keep putting one another down, a hell lot of problems with Ghanaians we can not discuss it here.

    What the woman is saying about roommates is true! I was having a roommate but the roommate was not paying his rent for for over six months and because of that I was ejected because my name wasn't in the lease when the roommate felt sick and sent to Ghana

      @ishmaelacquah791 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should've moved out before eviction so far as your name wasn't in the lease. You can also decide not to appear in court for eviction because the leasing office doesn't have your record to put anything on your record. I'm a property manager

    • @rainbow3649
      @rainbow3649 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @sylvesterkwadwoa2167 it's the early Nigerians that arrived here in the early days. Nigeriansstarted coming here first, judt like they, started going to U.K first,,so they were the ones who started calling them akata, which they got from their Yorba word, "katakata" meaning gidigidi in Yoruba., because the black Americans are seen as gidigidi. Thats all, it's not an insult.

    Am disappointed in your English as an international student in US in 1985. Better speak Twi since your English is not good. What you are saying about Ghanaians in abroad is true since most people are not comfortable in abrokyire but rather invest a lot in ghana where they don't live there permanently anymore..You live in abrokyire hence invest more in where you are living not in ghana. The gossip is too much among us in abrokyire...

      @@benasamoa318U see our mentality of ignorance! That's why we don't get anywhere! Car has taken the place of a home to live in. In the old days, or even just decades ago, the first thing our elders thought of, was how to put a roof over the heads of their families. Their kids and wife, and thats how we all in Ghana/Africa, grew up, having a place to live forever!! Today, the "computer" generation, (that's what I call the youth), unfortunately, believe that, having a car is more important than even human life! I don't know who taught them this, I don't know how this happened, and I can't understand how this car explosion makes sense to them! God help us!
