@@Chester-mz2ep Grant's existed since the 80s. Even during Tyson's time. At the height of Grant's popularity,majority of professional boxers still used Cletos. I do miss the old Grants because the new ones are trash now.

I owned the same pair of grants same color but they were 14 oz the feeling in the wrist area is absolutely the best I have ever felt it feels like it is extremely elite in protecting wrist I have just ordered the same reyes gloves in white and 16oz they will arrive in 2 days

Grant a better than Reyes? LMAO, Reyes has been used by leyends lique Paquiao, Ali, Chavez, etc. Grant has to pay boxers to wear their gloves. Mayweather, Canelo and others use Reyes or Winning when they're not in the spotlight but they use Grant when they fight because the brand sponsors them. Get it right my friend.

Mayweather doesn't like Reyes because of his brittle hands. He may have used Reyes early on in his career when he was trying to knock people out but not for the last 10 years.

I have a pair of Grants and I love them and I have yet to try cleto reyes but im sure their just as good. what kills me is that everybody says one glove is better than the next. now its true, some brands are just flat put crap and cheap. like I think Everlast has gone down hill but to somebody else, they may prefer them over any other. its all about each person's opinion

But what I like someone else may hate so it's impossible for one person to pick the best gloves for every other person

You gave point to grant because of looks?? Tf? Nah man cleto is way better an it has way more designs. Cleto Reyes won everyone in my gym wears cleto Reyes! Where are the grant gloves made? Cleto are made in Mexico real quality leather you can even tell by how they smell!

Best gloves for a good pop/protection IMO is a company called Russian boxer, csquared boxing said they are the exact same gloves as grant for like 200usd

Fit2Box I wish, but for someone who prefers a pop to as much protection as possible, usually grant is the best and Russian boxer is the exact same glove as grant 🤷🏽♂️

Would you have the same round for round points on the Reyes if it was a 16oz glove? Or did you rate it's protection and comfort directly to it being an 18 oz glove?
The stitching in Grant's split thumb area is actual shit though. my friend's Grants couldn't even last 4 months

One is double and a half times the price. Like comparing a Honda Civic Price to a Mercedes E Class. (Just on price) "Grant"ed, without price, the Grants win barely but, then reality sets in. Even if you're a billionaire, you don't want to lose the Grants, whereas the Reyes's are much more available and you can buy 2 1/2 pairs for the price of one. You'd go up to a custom/independent/or much higher cost glove if money wasn't an obstacle. Good 3 year old review though. I still think some categories should "Trump" (sad) others. As in a knockdown 10-8. (Like price and still, thumb position) The fact that these two compete at those prices is a joke. I'd bet my (Boris) Johnson that, in reality cost vs quality is more of a major factor. -TKO

The R2C C17s are pretty good gloves. A fraction of the price of Winning, for maybe 70-80% of its performance.
