Imo, Van helsing has the best werewolf design in movies. Honestly, the head reminds me of the Van Helsing, remove the braids and he nailed Hugh Jackman's werewolf form.

That's because Fursuit makers make the best mascot/creature costumes...but the film and sports industries don't seem to work with them to make their creatures look better. Maybe Fursuit makers are too pricey for them? Maybe they are just being picky? Don't know.
Probably because they want to use CGI instead which almost always comes out looking fake and out of place, especially when you watch it on a normal screen rather than in the theater. I know that it's really hard to have any screenplay read at all by anyone in the industry unless you know someone already in it. Seems to be true since all they do now is recycle old IPs until they don't make money on them at all anymore. So you can see how that could be true for costume design as well since the quality of productions appear to be made by people who weren't qualified but probably got the job for other reasons.

Those films are mostly cgi yet they look really damn good in that the Na'vi and flora seem actually there dispite being cgi. Companies mostly rely on CGI without giving time to render it most times.
True, very few films have realistic looking creatures using practical effects. I always thought the one in Silver Bullet and Cabin in the Woods looked pretty good. I'm sure there's others but that's all I can think of atm...

Werewolves have always been one of my favorite movie monsters. This costume is also a way better portrayal than the majority of big budget costumes/CGI that I've seen. Really well done.

As a learning fursuit maker (currently making a partial right now) this is absolutely AMAZING! So much intricate details that makes it feel so real! Love it!
I also want to try my hand at making a partial first. I've watched videos before about making fursuits. Of course I'd probably won't get into tve business of making them but I'd like to try to make at least my own character inspired things.

I'm a haunted house actor and my character is a werewolf called the wolf king with a jaw that moves with my chin and one time during a parade while we were setting up a couple was walking their dog on the sidewalk I did a snarl and roar then the dog lowered its ears, tucked its tail, and hid behind its owners... It was funny but sad and I felt bad for a little bit. Also I love to costume... I wish I had one like it... Mines just a 60 dollar one from spirit Halloween lol
I'd probably wear this costume at every opportunity, even if I worked at McDonald's, or, was CEO of some multinational corporation! Hey, if I've got billions of dollars, no one's gonna tell me I can't!
This is one of the coolest costumes I've ever seen and its probably very expensive...now if this was a Predator custom, money is not an issue. Plus it would have to have the face shield, retractable blade from forearm and the pinchers on its face would have to move. Definitely costume of the year(s)!! Lol 🤣
Idk Ive seen cats and dogs freak out because someone was wearing cat ears. My cat was gonna go full force attack mode on my brother trying to play a trick on him by wearing the ears. He took them off right away because he wasn't about to be mauled by a 15# cat!
