Like iCarly, Victorious has a place in my heart but some of the questionable humor and jokes and Dan Schneider abusive tendencies can make it hard to watch.
I wonder how many kids were confused by the Breakfast Club parody, since many of them likely weren't even born until two decades after the movie was initially released. I'll never hear "Tacos" or "Vegans" the same way again!
I feel anyone in any decade can actually watch and relate to the original film, minus Bender assaulting Claire, because it’s so relatable and undefined by the decade. And I know with the feet stuff they point out the fact Tori shoots a bow and arrow with her feet, but it’s honestly not creepy compared to all the other ones. Also, ironically that scene was supposed to invoke when Claire puts lipstick on with her breasts, but the funny think is Molly was 16 then and Victoria was either 19 or 20 (she just turned 30, as well as Ariana, Liz, myself, and KeKe Palmer (she and I are 3 days apart, so I linked her in) in that episode.

Kissing cats boyfriend-tori vega (cats new boyfriend) 7. Identity theft - jade west (brain squeezer) 8. Ruining toris prom-jade west (prom wrecker) 9. Pours coffee on tori- jade west (pilot) 10- selfishly stole mark mckellan from tori- Trina vega (freak the freak out)
Honestly, there's not much funny about putting children in adult situations. And on a Dan Schneider show, these aren't jokes. He's making children non-consentually complicit in his kinks.
The best thing about Victorious was that the actors were mostly adults when the show started. I mean some were underage, but compared to iCarly, they were adults (majority of them were at least). Not saying this content should have been in the show, because it’s very inappropriate for kids. I think the foot stuff is the worst (though I actually don’t hate people who are into foot stuff, because it’s harmless outside this subject for the most part), because it was so sexual and it’s obvious who it was made for.

More pedo jokes. It's one thing when you know it's a family movie\show and it's another when you know pedos worked on it and other pedos enjoyed it. I really enjoyed watching this show with my daughters. When they were old enough I watched "The Breakfast Club" with them & they were amazed at how the show almost perfectly parodied it, & how much of the movie they fit in less than a 1/2-hour. (Incidentally, I didn't get the "A to a D" joke the first time I saw it; my husband had to explain it to me!)

I loved this show, but ever since Jeannette McCurdy exposed Dan Schneider for the Harvey Weinstein of Nickelodeon he is, it makes it a little uncomfortable rewatching my favorite episodes.
I miss this show. Victorious, ICarly, Zoey 101 and Big Time Rush were my childhood shows! Shame about Dan Schneider's treatment of the actors on set though. I don't know about you guys, but as a kid I HATED Rex and I still do to this day. While most of the characters on this show were funny and had quirky character traits, Rex just came off more as an obnoxious jerk.

P.S. I never liked Tory or Trina that much cause the had some very annoying moment’s in the show but it’s not really their fault cause their dad and their devilish mom didnt educate them better.
