Cindy, real name Mayumi Yamamoto (born May 5, 1958) was a singer active from 1984 to 1997. She released three albums (Love Life, Angel Touch, Don't be afraid) and a compilation album (Surprise). Cindy is also known to have written music for other artists such as Miho Nakayama, she has also been featured on other artists' albums as either main vocals or backing vocals. Eventually, Cindy emigrated to the United States where she passed away on January 12th 2001. - เพลง

cindyさんは様々なアーティストへ楽曲提供やボーカル参加もしていましたよね。何年の事だったか忘れましたが山下達郎さんのツアーにcindyさんがコーラスで参加した神奈川県民ホール公演を観た事があります。
そのライブで達郎さんの声不調が起きストップしてしまったのです。
達郎さんは観客に事情説明しこれからスタッフとライブをどうするか協議するのでしばらくお待ち願いますとなりました。
ステージにはサポートメンバーが残されていました。
達郎さんが戻ってくるまでの間を繋いだのがcindyさんでした。
ジョンレノンのイマジンを歌ってくれたのです。
結局この時の公演は途中で中止になりましたが今日来てくれた皆様に申し訳ないとゆう達郎さんの強い希望により別日に振替え公演となりました。
あの時cindyさんも突然そんな状況になったにも関わらず素晴らしい歌を聴かせてくれたのを覚えてます
