Thank you for posting this information, I was recently started on ER lithium and it has been effective for severe depression, however the provider has done no testing and 3 weeks in I am finding myself agitated (never been that way before), somewhat confused, and always cold (wearing long johns and sweaters when peers are shirtless in shorts). The folks that started me on the drug (a rehab center) have dismissed my concerns. I rarely take NSAIDs but do follow a very low sodium diet. I travel 100% of the time for work, so have no regular PCP. What is the best route to get tested and ensure I am at a safe level? Edit: I also have been given 600mg ibuprofen (started refusing it as of last night) and 10mg lisonopril daily.

My Lithium Er no longer works well but I have a level. This was a good drug for me. Lamictal as well. Please tell me they might work again!
