Denys literally held his elder brother's life in his hands and he had to throw it away so he could take Valiant's life in his hands and save it. It is quite surprising that Cynan actually did love his son Dylan. Too bad for him he put his life in Cynan's hands.
👋😒No kidding but it wasn't undeserving since for some reason he got off lightly for taking valiants kingdom from him and you know he should have been put down for what he did instead then he tried causing trouble by sending Dylan to Camelot not to mention he basically sold Dennis off simply because he was disappointed in him,and in all honesty I actually thought Dylan was going to have a redemption Arc sense valiant showed Mercy to him twice plus when it came to his own son's well-being and the power he had held he chose the power and then when he got Dylan back he didn't want to fight beside his father because he showed how he cared more about power than his than his own kin, and in the end his attempt to get one son back cost him his other and know he's a mental and emotionally broken old man who's lost both his sons and with nothing left to live for,all an all tragic as it was for him he got what he deserved.😤
@@thefreeamericanpress9472 yeah know it sounds dark but it's basically what happened I also aware it sounds personal from me but anyone can have a low opinion on someone like sinin especially when there's people like him in the real world.👋😒
12:15 What's with that random guy's cough throughout the episode? It's never explained. I guess that's yet another reason why this series is so realistic.
Considering this is like ...the 5th century or so...500ad i assume, it's either typhus or something, cynan probably living in that castle for God knows how long before the siege of Thule and returning after the defeat, i imagine rats and what not
20:58 The guy's cough is what alerts Denys that he and Valiant were in danger. I guess having the man cough throughout the episode makes his coughing at this point not look like it came out of nowhere since it was already pre-established that he had a cough.
It seems 10 years later at least when you look at Dylan and Cynan now. Bit strange very strange even
what you mean?
@@thefreeamericanpress9472 they have aged, watch episode 25 - 'The Triumph'
The ending hits hard...

It does make it more realistic, but I guess it's fitting for this particular episode

It sets up the warning at the end for Valiant to be saved.
4:14 another US actor who went to the Dick van Dyke Mary Poppins school of cockney accents!
