That slow build up, release and final slides down from 4:19 is a true masterclass in improvisation. I can't say I can play jazz myself, but I know the sound of someone truly great when I hear it.
OK high-level musical critique I love Martin sound and I love Ulfs sound. But I object to that rhythmic accompaniment. What was that? Not only that and Martin's point I didn't like that comping that he was doing it just seemed like it wasn't fully formed as an idea perhaps and it became a little boring at the end but that's because the nature of the tune is very simple and there's not a whole bunch of changes on it perhaps but he could've changed up the rhythm a little bit. May be going into a reggae thing.
How did I miss this. It's always nice to see the masters at work. They make it look so easy.
