Is it just me or do turf wars seem super rare now? I've only seen one happen in like 50 hours of gameplay. Feels like the silkbind stuff clashes with that mechanic super hard
You have to enrage a monster and attract to another place, of course depending of the monster he straight of loses in one hit, but you get one free ride

Honestly, that's weirdly threatening. One moment, the monster us aggressively attacking you, fending for its life, and the next, the monster just glares menacingly at you, either losing the will to fight or feeling said fight is entirely pointless, *as they've already won* .

It pretends to die, to lure you into a false sense of security, ans when you get close to carve it.....WHAM, it trashes you into submission. Not sure if it was a oneshot or not. I think it was, maybe on the ps2. Gypceros was a bitch.
The goss clip at 1:30. I experienced a similar situation. I was fighting a Valstrax event quest where my friend and I were both on the ground without a way to move. We are on our last life and 30 minutes into the fight, when the valstrax goes to cut us in half with his claws, but my cat decided to save us and killed it before it killed us

yeah it's a bit borked, when the games had loading zones they would vanish like this once they hit the loading zone barrier. but now that the whole map is open i guess they didn't want to deal with having them run everywhere

I don't know how people get these bugs. I've only seen a very minor one once where a small monster just slid across the ground instead of a walk animation. Its a very stable, and polished game
There was this one time when I fought Ibushi after he destroyed the first gate and went to the second area. I was going to follow him on my palamute but as I almost reached him I magically teleported back at the entrance of the first gate. Wish I could’ve saved that lol.
What happens with the khezu was it thought it was dead so acted dead but the rest of the programming thought it wasn’t dead so it allowed you to attack but when it was weak enough to capture its body decayed like all monsters rendering the monster unbeatable so they couldn’t complete the quest

It's normal. During the Rampage quests, these monsters also just fade out of existence after they are defeated.
