It's been 2 years. How are you doing now? What sticks out in your mind the most about your friend? My friend has also been gone a while and it's interesting the stages of how we grieve bc I was and am so hurt but I'm starting to get some acceptance around it. I blamed her for a long time, how could you just leave me here like this? But now I understand more and I hope that you're okay and remembering how your friend made you feel, their smile, and the good parts. That is what pulls me through. I wish you all the peace and healing you need. My friend acted a lot like a mom to me. I miss her and I remember all of us living in the dorm and I was so depressed. My mattress had somehow kind of just migrated towards the floor, half on half on the ground- with me on it! I just... no. No I'm not doing it, I don't care. Leave me to die here. 🤣 Laura came busting in "oh absolutely not. how long has this been this way?" An hour and a half. The other girls ratted me out. "Get up. You're not going to just sink into the earth. You have to stop this. Oh look I have some snacks. Oh you want these snacks? Make your bed, go take a shower. Or I will drag you on your mat out into the hallway I swear I will!" I love that girl & whenever I'm all shitty I just make my bed & feel better instantly. 🤣🤣🤣

I babysat for Hoot’s family when he died. He had a little brother who was a toddler at the time. It was a small ski town and I know his death was not quick and what his friends witnessed that day would haunt a person for life. Gus must be a strong individual and I’m so grateful he got to have this experience with Tyler. The crazy thing is- this video somehow found it’s way to me totally randomly on TH-cam. I didn’t search for it or even know about it. As soon as he said “Hoot” my heart nearly stopped and I knew exactly who this was. While I didn’t know Hoot, only saw him in passing at their house, his death stayed with me for a long time. Wow.

As for this tragedy, it’s just heartbreaking. I’m really impressed with Gus being able to push forward and stay focused after such a life altering tragedy at such a young age.

Probably calls old friends in some cases. It's certainly not impossible to get info like that and make the person feel like it's impossible.

What an extraordinary man Gus Kenworthy. It is in his name...... he is most worthy of respect and admiration for his courage and humanity. If I had had role models like this chap when I was a teen my life would have been completely different. I hope it will be for others now.
His feeling that he should have been the one to die I fear is all too often the case in many situations for young homosexual lads. It was for me. I began writing suicide notes when I was 8 or 9 years of age. At 22 I did it. 3 days in a coma but I survived which even the doctor could not explain. I never tried it again but I remember the feeling of not deserving to live and that was the message that the society gave me.
So people like Gus give an alternative message especially in a country that is so openly hostile, bigoted and discriminatory towards homosexuals. I hope the young people will listen to him and others like him rather than the ugliness so aggressively voiced.
I had to laugh though when asked when the death took place and he said "a Long time ago" pause ..... 12 years. It is wonderful to be reminded of this perspective. For him 12 years is nearly half his lifetime. For me now it is a drop in time. My first experience with death and tragically was my mother's closest friend who at the time was 32 murdered by gangsters. I was 12, her son was my age. That was 1959. I was 24 when my maternal grandmother the person I loved most in the world died. That was 46 years ago. Time is relative but it makes one think.
I also survived a suicide attempt. I feel the same way you do, if I had a role model like Gus I may not have attempted to take my own life. The courage these young people display in coming out will save countless lives!

I just think it's bizarre that Tyler never seems to get anything wrong. He's always "right," even when he's just talking to his mom on the way to the reading. Without even knowing background stuff, it's easy to see that the production value for the show is way up there, especially because he reads for celebrities (and that it's on E). I'd love to see him in front of a live studio audience, even on, like a morning show with a crowd of people completely unknown to him. Has he ever done anything like that? And I know it sounds like I'm a total skeptic about mediums but I am actually not... I have my favorite mediums. I just can't help but wonder about Tyler though when I watch him, and the strange thing was the fact that he never talks out what is going on in his mind or how he is interpreting the images/messages in his head. He just seems to blurt out a completely accurate thing with every person on the show.

For all the skeptics ... you can tell that Tyler is NOT a good liar or a con artist by how he couldn't hide his attraction to Gus. He claims he never knows who he's going to see beforehand. Not that he doesn't know OF them or recognize them. Just doesn't know who he's going to read on the way there, he only finds out when he meets them.

I’ve been a therapist since 2002- In 2011 One of my clients was going through a really hard time with a break up and just really depressed- well 20min into the session I felt this overwhelming presence of LOVE beaming through every cell of my being and then there was an instant download into my mind.. (telepathic communication) I am a family member that has passed away and I am here to love and support him- so I asked him, do you have any family relatives that have passed away... There was silence for a minute and then he said yeah my dad- In that moment I was shown that we never stop existing and that we are truly magnificent beings !

I was driving home late one night and was fidgeting with my radio when I heard in my head ACCIDENT ACCIDENT - I looked up at the road and I was reaching an intersection and there was a car stopped in my entire lane. I knew I was gonna T bone this guy and I slammed on my breaks and turned my wheel over to the side and our tires maybe touched! That was my proof that we have spirit guides with us 24-7-

Imagine being woken up by a cymbal tone in your inner ear and when you open your eyes , you see this being standing in your bathroom doorway- The first thing my mind said was : Your eyes are playing tricks on you, you arent really seeing this being. Then she moves slightly forward and then I know that shes real and in that moment she backs further into the bathroom and out comes this huge sphere transparent with static on both sides of it. It floats right up to the side of my bed and then it shapeshifts into a smaller object then elongated and flies slowly and silently through my ceiling
I know the logical mind wants to explain it away- Because its so far from anything we thought possible. My own mind tried explaining it away and she was right in front of me! I got up immediately and typed up what i just witnessed - Fascinating part about it was that she was atleast 4ft tall that i know for sure but this sphere that was obviously her craft when it came up to the side of my bed got as small as a basketball.... so how the hell did she fit in it? Their technology manipulates our physics! Its so magical!!
