Try a line-out mod to one of these, I've heard that they have a cult following of fans who prefer them to more modern digital modeling practice amps. The analog transistor tech gives it an authentic Marshall tone apparently... I might have to see for myself!

Try the DS-1 with the amp od, that's the way that is intended to be used. Then engage the fdd and is a whole new animal
