  • Detroit is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the largest U.S. city on the United States-Canada border. Detroit is a port on the Detroit River, one of the four major straits that connect the Great Lakes system to the Saint Lawrence Seaway. Detroit had a population of 639,111 at the 2020 census, making it the 27th-most populous city in the United States. The Metro Detroit area, home to 4.3 million people, is the second-largest in the Midwest after the Chicago metropolitan area, and the 14th-largest in the United States. Detroit is known for its contributions to music, art, architecture and design, in addition to its historical automotive background and pro sports.

    Detroit has made one hell of a comeback that's for sure ! I'm 64 and have lived here all my life 😊 and it warms my heart to witness just how far Detroit has come ! I'm also a diehard Lions fan ? And to witness the season they had last year was absolutely amazing. One win from the Superbowl 😊 was awesome !

    I would agree with most posters here, this was a wonderful drone video of the city. I too have never been to Detroit but see what an amazing comeback this city is doing, it's a strong city that been through so much, I intend to visit soon and possibly consider relocating. Cheers to the people of Detroit.

    • @chrisbiela
      @chrisbiela  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't think it is melancholic. I think it goes well with a slow pace of drone footage, not to the city vibe. Of course it is my opinion and I respect yours.

    Nice to see Detroit making a slow comeback after 2013... Sad still that it never attracts tourists, as facilities are lacking, and crime is still high from what i've heard. Outstanding work as always Chris ! Music is also on point with the city atmosphere and being so abandoned in many areas, where once had full of life.

      Tourism has exploded in Detroit. It was named to Time Magazine’s top 50 must see places in the World. You sound like so many people who just assume that Detroit is still what it was 25 years ago. True, many inner city neighborhoods aren’t the best but downtown Detroit is gorgeous now
