That area is on my list, Cow Creek. I've seen another video where a guy (J.Hikesalot) did a multi-day loop hike in that area. Looks pretty cool. Who was the stalker with the deep voice following you there for a little while? Lol. Sorry the hogs destroyed your prime view camping spot. A clear case of porky terrorism. It looks like you set up camp, ate dinner, and then hiked back to your car rather than spend the night. I need to get out there at some point soon.

That's an evil wilderness. I've seen more of it than J Jacksalot. Some narrator dude just showed up there...no idea who it is. D@m porkies! They are terrawrists. Bluffs out there are strange. I often get up early and head out...sleep poorly in the woods. If you go there you'll be sorry. That hike was 12 miles...tons of small rocks under foot.

Awesome video thank you for bringing us along
That bridge was very well lit up for a long exposure for about maybe a minute and a half maybe two depends on camera settings of course especially if you're doing f8 to remove 90% other chromatic apparitions
Still see some color here and there

Nice hike there Patrick!! You spend all that time hiking in and setting up only to leave before daybreak! What brand was that meal ? I have had mountain house beef stroganoff and it actually pretty good ! Some of them meals are pretty nasty !! Glad to learn about that ….. weed !! You should have picked some of that for your dinner !! Later dude 👍🏼

Thankee Chopenheimer. I have trouble sleeping and the desire to rise early overcomes me. If I were on a bluff it would have been different. Trailtopia brand...stay away. All Mow-an House food is decent. I had to skool YOU on a plant fer a change. I only eat wild plants in a survival scenario...bushcraft style, dude.

After Thanksgiving and during Thanksgiving we had some rain yesterday unfortunately my back decided to hurt yesterday and today so I didn't get out at all today to do any kind of photography just stayed home laid on the bed and put CVS extra strong muscle rub on my back
And with the moisture that we had yesterday if the pain did go away early enough I could have gone out down the Rocky River of course local and maybe just maybe could have gotten some nice mushroom or fungus or some moss shots that was just starting to turn green again with maybe some yellow leaves in the background or something

Oooh. You have the new Durston dome tent! Thoughts?

Hey ChrisY2k. Duston's original trekking pole style tents did nothing for me. That common design just left me thinking...uugghhh(I don't use trekking poles). When I saw the video for this tent, it just hit me as being the way a tent should be. It sets up pretty easily (the metal clips that the pole ends go into are a bit finicky though) and the fact you can leave the body and fly attached makes it easy. It's very spacious inside. All the zippers work great. I'm quite impressed, save for the pole connectors. The color is good...I love green...could have been a little more green, though. I'm glad I got in on the early preorder.

In your travels along the Buffalo and all these other small tributary rivers and creeks and bends have you come across extremely old gnarly oak tree with moss all over it just curious

      Mostly old gnarly cedar trees.
