Armor considerations:
Prefer hybrid Armor/dodge gear. You will need some strength to wear the hybrid armor/dodge gear.
Gear stats to look for:
weapon: atk dmg, spd, poison dmg, poison dmg %, atk dmg %, crit rate, crit dmg
-get the 1.2 speed 11 gear critical rate base bow
quiver: atk spd%, %dmg against status, poison dmg+, ele dmg%, crit dmg%, atk crit rate%
helmet: hp%, hp, resists
shoulder: armor%, hp, poison dmg %, resists
chest: hp%, hp, phys dmg taken (-%), resists
gloves: hp, atk spd, crit dmg, crit rate, resists
feet: move spd, projectile dmg, hp, resists
amulet: hp, hp%, poison dmg, ele dmg%, resists
belt: hp, hp%, mana pot effect, mana pot cd recovery, resists
rings: atk spd, hp, ele dmg or proj dmg, crit dmg, crit rate, resists

Wanting to do one on shockwave arrow might also make 1 with spreadshot. Not a fan of piercing arrow atm.
I always looked at this skill and considered using it, but was having a hard time realizing what links and trigger runes to use. Now I know. Will consider this for next season. Great video!
Yeah once I figured out how the Pierce mechanic worked on this it became a lot more interesting
because in the skill slots you use they are not the same skills that are in the letter K where you activate all of them. I explain?

Hi, can you tell me which runes to swing first, I'm a new player and at level 70 I have 20k damage per second on a ogre arrow
anything that adds damage works - quick attack, additional poison damage, element damage amp, poison penetration, find weakness (to get a big boost on crit)
So good clearing, and looks awesome 👍

Help please. I got a red steel bow called Embracing fang.
Stats is:
Atk DMG 445-548
Speed 1.3
Crit rate 21.1
+18 blind rate
+51-74 Attack dmg
+54% atk dmg
+164% gear crit rate
*Additional posion dmg on dmg equals to 2% of dmg on every hit
+18 Venom Rate
*2% Dmg amp per 1 venom stack on enemy hit
+6 hp on every hit ( red glowing stat)
+38% atk dmg (red glowing stat)
Should I consider this a build for me?
Sounds solid for a starter bow

Hello! I am leveling a char right now :) I have a question , I have ogre arrow with spell on hit (support plauge Spike) but it doesn't do any dmg yet and most importantly that the AOE is not like the video here. Can you explain me why the AOE is not the same? :)

You need a multishot or parallel multishot with chain. Also level your activation rune early since it lowers the dampening of the damage.

Is Fireball+TE viable? What would be the BiS runes for this build? Also in this build using Thunderbolt instead of illusion arrow for energy gain would be viable?
illusion arrow is far more consistent than thunderbolt as it always hits the target. thunderbolt hits random areas on the map. check out my fireball + condensed fire build guide to see what you would run on fireball. you'd run the same links on TE as you would here. th-cam.com/video/4b3n4JiS3Cg/w-d-xo.html

I am not a bow person but Ogre Arrow seems fun to play. Might create a seasonal character to try next season. Merry Christmas.

do we need to run shouts ? can i see the final skill tab with everything in please ?
You don't have to however adding a shout to an activation link rune can improve your build.
Hi, just started Season 3 with a new character. How do you level and when can one switch to this build I was wondering? Build looks amazing and I'd really love playing it. Would appreciate the help.
I think you can get those runes in act 3. Just use some placeholder link runes like additional poison damage until you get final links.
@@philbo9k you where right, it comes online in Act 3. This is a lot of fun! I get a little intimidated when watching all those red and rare synth runes... didn't play since launch and now I see all red and awakened and having no clue how to get there. But one step at a time. Gotta reach maps first :D Also it seems I can buy some more usefull runes in Act 5 then. Ty!
@@philbo9kone more thing that confuses me though: you show your Skill Allocation Bars at 5mins. I don't see the matching Skill Window with those Runes equipped though... Am I missing something? (not showing Marksman slotted in the Layout e. g.)

How do you get to the menu @1:33? Where do I find that?
There is an information icon on the rune when you click it. Click that and it will bring you there. You can also get there through the rune compendium. Item compendium (h key shortcut) then rune compendium.
