Needle in a haystack. Sometimes everything is against you and your best intentions. You both gave it a crack and did it wisely, one vectoring the other onto the spot and then following your instincts. We can only do so much under the circumstances. The good thing to take note of and for people to remember is you need to know when to call it a day and start to look after your own well being. In such finicky weather the tables can be turned against you in a heart-beat. You gave it a good go that's all anyone can ask. Great video guy's. Chur!!
Another fantastic video showing of the country side. Keep it up rogee As for huntsmart been using for a while. Love it. Also find it great when you get hit by the flu... no need for cold and flue tabs
gee I take my hat off to the Big O he does so well for a big fella. Massive shot fella's. Rogee you'll need to talk to that fella Paul about a dog maybe. Love your clips

Mean vid Ma bro, I did the same thing not long ago after I seen u and ol fulla gav that morning at the Bp stink thing is mine will be on that TV show. Sucks not finding!!!! Anyways ONWARD
Hey Rogee, great videos, you have yourself a new sub! I'll be buying my first hunting rifle within the next few weeks and i am a bit undecided on caliber, any recommendations for a novice hunter?
Cheers brother....new and first rifle will depend on the game your hunting and the type off hunting you'll be doing eg bush stalking, medium or longrange. Cool to have you part of the Rogee Productions journey brother!!
Now I am very old school and bias bro but...the 308 is the calibre for you!!....if you go check my vids out ive shot deer out to 600m and 15m with my 308....proven performance!!
cool that was a good shot even tho we don't like to lose a shot deer, you spent a lot of time looking for it well done what caliber is your rifle? looks well specked
Chur, impressive shooting boys. Hard luck on not been able to eat the tasty morsels. Solid effort tho Rogee. Maybe look at getting a dog in the future?
Epic mission guy's. Have to say though you need to invest in a dog as man they make a difference finding the animals that have had a wee run after taking a round or two.
Yeah got the stitches out Monday and now I’m a full cast so count down is in place - only 5 weeks left with a cast on then start rehab. The goal is be back in the bush early December. So just having to get my fishing and hunting kicks from watching you boys from the couch.
Just watched your shots on the video again and one of the things that catches LR shooters out is bullet path at the target. The tendency is to forget the longer the distance the more acute the angle is as it penetrates the animal. Then add to this the height difference with line of sight from shooter to target and the angle becomes even greater. End result is that even a low mid shoulder shot can end up punching out the bottom of the chest missing the vital kill zone or as often seen ending up as heart shots.
