I said this earlier today before they even signed him that Mattison would basically be Minschew at RB for them, its the same sort of move. Gives them flexibility in the draft to let things come to them and not have to reach on those positions or force anything. I like it
We need a new Offensive Line. We’ve had the same line for years. We need to see who’s slacking on the O line and D line and cut them and recruit new guys to replace them and then one solid ass QB and will have a strong and solid squad 💯 and a chance to make Super Bowl and possibly win
Mattison is a great workhorse runningback. The only way to bring him down is multiple people or to strip the ball. The vikings needed someone more slippery and he coughed the rock up all last season, but i dont think he was supposed to be a bell cow RB1. If you play him in a committee you should be fine. Are you talking about Jacobs of last year, or the year prior? Two years ago, he was great. Last year, average.
Two years ago he led the league in carries and was driven into the ground. Zamir has a very similar skill set. We’ll be fine

He had receiving tds, UT yah they used him as a 3rd down back. He got 1st downs.
