I'm afraid you were moving around quite fast, an expert with the app, but I am a noob so I couldn't keep up with what was happening. I'll have to go back and forth and watch sections several times to catch it all. A bit slower pass through each function would have been very helpful. But thank you for creating the vid. I'll have it all learned soon enough.
Just bought a SDR device and I can get some channels, but none of the NOAA and I have identical settings as you do. What antenna are you using? I have tried all 3 that come with it and they all give the same results.
Late reply, but at that time I was using a few diy 1/4 wave ground plane antennas and this diy OCF dipole wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Homebrewed_Off-Center_Fed_Dipole
I have used the wire in a SPIRAL paper notebook and worked my way up or down to a 75 ' x 75' x 80 ' triangle longwire. Funny thing They all work! The secret to this device is not to overload the input signals. Throttle back on the R F GAIN everyway you can. Plain Am broadcasts are easy. But the antennas they sent are very good , if you learn how to use them. Plain copper wire no insulation thrown out a window will work. But stay away from static rf noise. Your pc is a great generator of rf noise. I picked up my neighbors lawn mowers spark plug emissions and my fridge ice maker .
I did this. If you like short wave radio take the time to install this. The plugins are so vast that in laymans terms . WOWWWWWW!!
why no sound?
