@@nicolajackson1107 - We're free from death because we are free from sin (See Romans 6). Death came (to man) by sin and so if Jesus frees us from sin then we are free from death as well. I like that. How many church goers out there proclaiming joy over the fact that they are free from sin? Not many. And since our salvation is based on our confession, guess what...
Rom 10:10b - and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
The word "confession" means literally to say the same thing (Greek: homologeo - homo = same, logeo = word). If we say the same thing as God then we have a good confession. I am free from sin by the glory and grace of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I challenge you to read the Book of Romans and pay attention to what Paul says about our freedom from sin. I PROMISE you, it will revolutionize your faith and your friends at church will hate you for confessing what that book teaches. It happened to me. I was thrown out of a church of Christ for confessing this doctrinal truth.

What's really 'messed up' is Gen 3: 1-5 = Serpent is a beast created on the Earth = nothing about "Satan" .....on and on.
In Job "the satan" only 'suggests/argues' that Job would change his tune if he weren't so 'blessed' = God accepts the challenge and allows all the 'calamity' to befall on him .....(( and btw the Hebrews consider this book to be 'literature/ like a play ' = not "history" !!!

I just ran across this and want to say thank you for the word of God you're teaching. I'm down by doctors orders and haven't been able to attend Church in four or more years. I really mess going to Church and ask as many people as possible to pray for me to be healed so I can get back to having a life and a get back into going to church and getting out and talking to people about the LORD. Eve honestly shows people what happens when you don’t know the word of God, she obviously wasn’t fully paying attention to what the Lord said, and in turn got tricked.
@SAPPHIRE I don’t believe God would set her up for disaster, he said you may eat of every tree in the garden but not of the tree of good and evil ( if you read it it says there are two trees in the “midst” of the garden), the tree of life and tree of good and evil, the serpent then comes to beguile her and gets her to question if God really said those things, she then proceeds to not only misquote him but also adds onto what God said, God never said she couldn’t touch the tree or the fruit just don’t eat it, but I do wonder if Adam did his job as her husband and passed on the message of what God truly did say, God also says we’re the weaker vessel so maybe you are right🤷🏽♀️, but then again God has a plan and his will so how can any of us really know other than reading and letting the Holy Spirit do the rest.

Nah. When Eve was created, even the angels were in awe of what God created. When God told Adam that she is of his side, and do not leave hers, it was a reason. God sees and knows. The rebellion had already broken out in heaven.
Adam left his wife's side. That is how Eve was tempted. Eve did not spend as much time with God as Adam did. Adam did not properly protect and lead his wife.

It's a story about a little boy and was inspired by the verse James 1:13-15 and because of the boys' evil desires he killed his parents
and planned to rule the world via death and violence. So many kids see that as cool, so this could happen.
I felt like it was to teach people who wanted to know why these kids were acting evil and in the story Satan is the one influencing the child.
I think I want the moral of the story to be to pray for your kids and other children because a lot of people don't have Christianity to protect their kids since a lot of kids are pulled away

I believe the origins of evil are quite easily explained:
God did not create evil. Evil is that which opposes God. God so loves his creation that he imbues it with free will, and free will allows one to choose to align oneself with God, or to foolishly oppose God. Hence, evil exists only as a possibility--a potential--up until the point that one chooses to manifest it by opposing God. God did not create evil; those who oppose God create evil.

So where did this opposition come from? It doesn't add up. Who makes beings "perfect" and then is all-knowing as God and knowing that this perfect being would soon sin against God , punish us for it. If things were really perfect then this should have never been carried out. Then all these questions he asks people when he knows the answers. Its a big riddle and game seemingly. What if everything in the man made bible isn't truth. What if satan was Gods brother or something? What if Satan was the next in line to rule and was over taken by God? People are afraid to ask questions like this all because of what we've been taught.

The devil enticed Eve to eat the fruit of the tree, nowhere does it say that the fruit was an apple.
Where did Satan's (who was one of God's angels before he rebelled) first evil desire come from ? From his "heart", and of which James 1:13-15 gives insight into this, saying: "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried (or put to the test) by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire (or when a person allows wrong thinking to develop in the heart). Then the desire, when it has become fertile (starting to take "root"), gives birth to sin (changing from just a thought into action, because a person does NOT cull it out immediately when he or she first thinks about it); in turn sin, when it has been carried out (or acted upon), brings forth death (because deviating from "righteousness" leads to death, see Prov 10:2)."
At Matthew 15, after Jesus had sternly denounced the Pharisees, whom Jesus called "blind guides", Jesus says to his disciples: "Are you not aware that whatever enters into the mouth passes through the stomach and is discharged into the sewer ? However, whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart (or seat of motivation, a combination of all our desires), and those things defile a man. For example, out of the heart come wicked reasonings (as Satan has): murders, adulteries, sexual immorality, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies. These are the things that defile a man."(Matt 15:17-20)
Thus, at Proverbs 4:14, 15, it says: "Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil men. Shun it, do not take it; Turn away from it, and pass it by." At verses 20-23, Solomon wrote: "My son, pay attention to my words; Listen carefully to my sayings. Do not lose sight of them; Keep them deep within your heart, for they are life to those who find them and health to their whole body. Above all the things that you guard, safeguard your heart, for out of it are the sources of life."
Satan as "the serpent" at Genesis 3, knew full well that all worship goes only to God, whose name is Jehovah (see Isa 12:2, KJV), but failed to ' safeguard his heart '. At Exodus 20, Jehovah told the new nation of Israel: "You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion."(Ex 20:4, 5)
When being tempted by Satan some 40 days after his baptism, Jesus tells Satan, who says that for just one act of worship, he would "give" him all the kingdoms on the earth: "Go away, Satan ! For it is written (at Deut 10:20): ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service."(Matt 4:10)
So, Satan (meaning "resistor"), having allowed a wrong desire to take "root" in his "heart", longed for the worship which only rightly belongs to Jehovah, so that he seduced Eve to listen to him and eat from "the tree of knowledge of good and bad", a tree that established Jehovah's right to set moral boundaries for humans, of what is "good" and what is "bad".(Gen 3:1-5)

The biggest unanswered question is not
"When" or "Where" Lucifer first sinned,
but "HOW" it was even possible that a perfect being could sin existing in the very awe-filled presence of Almighty God who was always looking into His face?
"for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven." - Matthew 18:10
This passage of scripture must reveal that when Lucifer rejected God (the source of life) for self (believing he could self-sustain his own existence) & rebeled, he was staring directly into the face of God the Father, & that just baffles my mind. He had to know what he was doing, he didn't have a tempter like man does, he knew rejecting God's Spirit would cut him off from God & yet he did it anyway.

08/10/2020 it's now 16;43pm well I'm sure this is a start to many more writings!! so today I walked into the park like always with max for his walk!
And in general weather was cloudy as it had been raining not long before so anyway I let max of the lead and i just start talking with God asking him to come out and say hello even for 2 mins talking to God and looking at the sun
while I did it!!! with in seconds the clouds went away ! and a new formation started!!!
I wish I had a camera phone but I don't for other reasons! anyway the sky cleared like watching a tv!! the clouds, well they turned to like a stair case to heaven literally!!

7:36 "Some argue that we sin because Satan enters us.." If our relgious experience is our personal relationship with God, then I started to change the way I though about what exactly the bible is. One of my theories is that it is a psychology manual of sorts. Like many other scriptures of other denominations, the reader is presented with events to which he reacts at an emotonal level. A lesson is expected to be learned from the reading. You are expected to come to conclusions by yourself. The Bible is a Roman invention which has removed all internal references, leading people to think these entities are external, real bodies rather than spirits (or attitudes). It contains a method for indivduals (and the "individual" is key) to understand and even reach the frame of mind required to live again.
But to do that first we have to understand how we are currently dead and when did we die. WHen we are born we are untainted by those around us. At some stage in life, our ability to learn is applied to other people. This is to avoid being laughed at and ridiculed. We start to take on the behaviour and attitudes of other people and the original true self steps back into consciousness. If we don't snap out of that somehow this continues until death meaning we are never ourselves again. When Jesus went off the the desert to fast, the most important aspect was that he wasn't anywhere near anyone else. Only when Jesus had been bohemian (saying, doing and eating nothing) for a peiod of time did Satan present himself. Same thing happened to Buddha. The same thing would happen to you. The conclusion is that our ego-drives cause us to want more (sin), so as an egoist, around other egoists, we are and they are Satan's spirit. Selfishness and pride. Greed and malice, and so on. If we fast from greed, culture and other people for long enough (40 to 49 days) an event takes place which allows us to see the truth. From my understanding Lucifer was the first angel. He was programmed like a machine and made like a potters first cup. Every potter always makes a flawed first cup. Lucifer was God's pride and joy for it was his first being and creation and meant to keep his creation in good working order. Satan is not the serpent in the garden of edin. As a matter of fact, we are not even sure who the serpent was that convinced Eve who then convinced Adam to eat the forbidden fruit.

Much more comprehensive than anticipated, and highly profitable for inculcating viewers with truths that we as believers hold dear. I like the way a bit of theology proper is mingled with Christian doctrine to clearly explain the origin and effects of sin. Praise God that dying to self daily, we can live in and for Christ because of what He accomplished for us. Christians are actively engaged in warfare against the sin that resides in our flesh (we've not yet been made perfect, but we will be upon Jesus' return). The flesh is at emnity against the Spirit of holiness whom God has given us as a gift, so that we may be delivered from the power that sin had over us (See Galatians 5:16, Romans chapters 7 & 8). God has delivered the redeemed from the penalty of sin, is currently delivering us from the power of sin, and will one day deliver us from the very presence of sin. I've yet to hear anyone explain how Lucifer who was perfect in all his ways, perfect in judgement, perfect in beauty ect ect, how he could sin. First, to say he was perfect, would advocate he was just like God, as God is perfect. Secondly, since he fell and sin was found in him, then it's obvious he wasn't actually perfect, yet that's what is in the bible. If Lucifer was subject to a fall despite being perfect, then there's no reason to think mankind once in heaven couldn't be subjected to end up sinning again. If God is the only one who's perfect, then Lucifer never was, and mankind in heaven never will be either... we'll STILL be subject to fail just like Lucifer did, even if it isn't due to pride. The other half has yet been told, and the mystery of lawlessness is not revealed to us. It could be, when satan is released for a season after the 1000 years, that there's a reason for it, to weed out any possibility for mankind to sin against God again, and for those born during the 1000 year reign of Christ, as this could be mans final testing time... after that no one will ever be tempted to sin again. WHO IS SATAN?
In the Hebrew Scriptures, or Tanakh, the word ‘satan’ is mentioned ten times, never as a proper name or with capitalization of the S. What we get is a word meaning adversary or accuser when it refers to human opponents: les satan. However, when the word refers to angelic beings who carry out Yahweh’s orders, we find the term ha satan with the meanings, the adversary, the accuser or God’s prosecuting Attorney.
For the six usages referring to human adversaries are, 1 Samuel 29:4 speaks of David, when hiding from King Saul among the Philistines, who forced him to leave fearing that he may become an adversary or satan. In 2 Samuel 19:21-23, David’s nephew, Abashai, a member of his court is called a satan. In 1 kings 5:4, King Solomon reigned in peace and there were no more adversaries or satans to fight. The fourth and fifth incidences mentioned in 1 Kings 11:14 and 23 where God sent two military leaders to oppose King Solomon and sixth case, Psalms 109:1-6, the author mentions a slanderous person or satan accusing him of wrong doing.
In Numbers 22:22, we find an angel sent by God to stop or oppose the Prophet Balaam on his journey; ha Satan. Ha Satan, part of the angelic realm, presents himself along with the other angels or sons of God in the heavenly courts in Job 1:6. A large portion of the Book is devoted to Ha Satan asking God’s permission to tempt and punish Job to test his loyalty to Yahweh. In Zechariah 3:1-2, ha Satan accuses God’s High Priest Joshua, who were wearing dirty clothes, in contravention of Yahweh’s dictates, before God as a prosecuting attorney. The final case is where Ha Satan tempts King David to take a census of Israel, 1 Chronicles 21:1.
The Hebrew’s Scriptures’ concept of the Satan is that of an angel, who has no power to act without Yahweh’s permission. Furthermore, angels have no freewill and always carry out God’s orders. It is Satan’s job to be the Accuser of man and God’s prosecuting attorney. He represents temptations to satisfy our evil inclinations, so humans must exercise their free will to make right choices and thus build their character.
Satan is not evil or does he have any power to create evil. Only Yahweh is the universal creative force of both good and evil. Isaiah 45:7 states: “I form light and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the lord do all these things.”
Satan was not the Serpent in the Garden of Eden. The Serpent was an animal! Genesis 3:1 states: “Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.” Satan did not invade the serpent’s body. Note that God cursed the ground and humans had to eat by the sweat of their brows; the serpent was cursed: it had to crawl on its belly and lick the dust. There was no punishment of Satan. If Satan possessed the serpent’s body, why would God punish the serpent, a victim of identity theft, and not punish the perpetrator, Satan?
Lucifer is not Satan. Isaiah 14:12 states: “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations?” Lucifer was a human ruler that was predicted to be humiliated for his pride. The proof is given by Isaiah 12:16 states: “They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, is this the man that made the earth to tremble; that did shake the kingdoms.”
So where did Christians get the concept that Satan is a being so powerful that, he created evil, opposed his creator , made war in heaven and was eventually cast down to the Earth? Where did they get the concept from that he is the adversary of God and the tormentor of humans? When Israel was enslaved in Babylon by the Persians empire, Israel was exposed to the empire’s belief system, namely the Wise Lord and Creator, Ahura Mazda and his evil counterpart, Lord of Darkness and Chaos, Agra Mainyu. Ahura Mazda is worthy of worship and created spirits to assist him. Agra Mainyu, is inferior to Ahura Maza, but he also created spirits who are destructive.
That system, first preached by the Persian prophet Zoroaster, states that the battle between good and evil will be resolved by a great final cosmic battle resulting in the defeat of Agra Mainyu, who will be confined to a lake of fire. That event is the Day of Judgement! The wicked people will also be destroyed. In the inter-testament, these ideas were adopted with changes; Jewish priests could not countenance the idea that there were two eternal beings. The Satan of Christianity is alien to Hebrew Scriptures!
The Hebrew Scriptures, and Jewish theology, views Satan radically differently than does much Christian theology.
1) The character Satan or “Ha Satan” translates literally as “the accuser” or, in other contexts, "adversary", and that is what he is: he either tempts humans or brings their sins to God’s attention
2) Satan is not the force of evil; God is the source of all things, including what humans conceive of as good and evil
3) Satan works for, not against, God
4) There are no references to Satan in the earlier books of the Hebrew Scriptures.
5) There are very, very few references to Satan in the later books, and all of these are in just four of the later books: Chronicles, Job, Psalms, and Zechariah, written c. 600-500 BCE (see Ancient Israel and Texts Timeline). Satan only occurs as a specific character once, however: in the book of Job.

There has been an incalculable amount of people (mostly Christians), including some of the greatest hero's of the faith who have unwittingly fostered the self-same sin as Lucifer (Is 14:13) - "to ascend into heaven." For nowhere in the bible does it explicitly say that this is the Christian's destiny or inheritance. In fact, the opposite is prophetically true; for God's elect shall "reign on the earth (Rev 5:10).” I ask you; if Christ is returning to rule over a 'New, Regenerated Earth,' why would you want to be elsewhere? If a sinless earth is good enough for our King, then it should be good enough for you too. But sadly, much like Satan and Nebuchadnezzar (Gen 11:1-4) beforehand, mankind in their errant pursuit for an ethereal habitation continues to be the height of their arrogance, Adamic pride and the summit of their biblical ignorance.

big difference .In the Law it takes more than 1 person to convict someone of murder.
And there should be 3 witnesses in the Bible (as Father , Son, and Holy Spirit = 3 verses from the Gospels or Paul to "prove" this is complete truth) before we can be sure something is true.

Yes Lucifer had a ego. But God also gave him choices. Lucifer was created by God. God also Created Micheal. And when Lucifer rebelled because he wanted to be Equal of God. God knew he created a rebel. So He had Micheal kick him out of Heaven.

The Garden of Eden and Heaven are the same place. Genesis one has Heaven as the six days which is the six months that begin at the spring equinox and end at the autumn equinox.
This was modified by adding one day/month to summer, in order to get the sacred seven.

The only creatures claiming to be the enemies of God are man. The Sovereign LORD has no enemy.
So what you are saying is that God created this intelligent, handsome and powerful angel, and then this angel turned bad and as a result he was thrown down to earth...wait a minute, with weak humans and now he is causing all sorts of evil..and humans at the end will be judged for failing against this super angel whose life is almost "eternal". Secondly Lucifer was a man, a king of Babylon, who God killed off.
Yes Lucifer was brilliant and controlled the great city of Babylon and conquered much, yes he was lifted up in his heart and desired to set his throne above god.
God granted Lucifer a great position in Babylon and gave him great wisdom and power. As Jesus said, no one has anything unless God gives it. However Lucifer was tempted by Satan and Satan lead Lucifer to his downfall. If Lucifer had turned his heart away from Satan and turned his heart towards God then he would have been saved.
And so now Lucifer lies in the grave, or even worse his dust scattered in the wind, and will awaken at the second resurrection to be judged and condemned for all eternity.

One simple human example would be:
Someone grows up in the Presence of God; has a family who prays and discusses the greatness of God and is witness to His Power. In high school, this person realizes that they have exceptional gifts in athletics. They letter in every sport and hear the applause of the crowd every time their gifts are manifested. In time, this particular person looks in the mirror and utters, "Wow .... I am amazing, brighter and bigger than most!!! I stand above the rest!!!" He then goes to the coach and says, "I will overthrow you; I shine and will replace you."
There's more to know than is revealed but it is ALSO Satan who would have individuals go astray but questioning what has not been fully revealed, get anxious about not finding all the answers and then at the end of that path is angry with God for not being the servant of man.
