I remember getting this the year it came out, as a Christmas gift from my parents. Played this game for hours and hours. Such a fun game. The menu song is probably the most memorable song in the game. Reason: we all would get home after school / work, pop the cartridge into the N64 and just game. I remember my friends coming over and playing Multiplayer with me too. Christmas Tree was still up and it was cold outside. Just gaming in the living room with no worries or responsibilities, except homework and passing our grades. Days gone but not forgotten. Good memories.
I'm from São Paulo, Brazil, and I can relate to that (except for the part that Christmas season is actually during our summer). Me, my brother and our friends used to play for hours while our parents sang at the karaoke machine in the living room. One friend of ours loved to play as Davidov for some reason. Every time he did something cool he would say that Davidov was the true action hero. And don't get me started on the sticky grenades and sentinels. It was total chaos and we loved it. I miss that.

That's because TWINE was more or less a direct upgrade from Goldeneye. Better textures, better models, more complex map design and gameplay along with voice acting really help make it an improvement.
