Michele, I JUST sold my first-gen Bottega Veneta padded cassette! It was black with the gold hardware and was so. so. so. perfect. But after a few years passed, it became one of my least-worn bags. The clasp would click as I walked if I didn't fasten it, and I truly wish it had a lining. It is beautiful on the outside but the functionality was never on the nose. You can absolutely rock it, but wanted to share my own experience with it! (I don't use large bags, mostly small-to-medium, for reference!). I also share your love for kelly green as the only pop color in my neutral collection. Don't know why it has that sway on me, but everytime I see a bright, grassy green bag in the wild, my heart stops! The person wearing it always seems sure of themselves, chic, artful. The only other color bag I've tried and LOVED is raisin. It is exactly how you described - chocolate at first glance, works surprisingly well with silver and gold - but has a blackened purple heart. I've been stalking vintage Hermes raisin-colored bags after loving my Céline luggage in that color. It goes with everything. Love it more than caramel tan bags (think, Loewe puzzle) and more than sienna, sable reds. Cannot wait to see what you buy! Sorry for the wall of text xoxo Diana

The Kelly is FIRE with all blacks. Seriously. More so than red-everyone seems to do red for a pop with black-I keep red on my lips!

Hey Michele, I have several Lady Dior bags. in all sizes. Let me tell you that the medium size is really big in my opinion. And I am very tall. The thing that's also beautiful about the small all matte Lady Dior that you are considering, is that it doesn't have the zip. Instead, it has a leather flap which is soooo much more practical because with the zip I find it very hard to really see what's inside and get what you want. Kind of uncomfortable if you will.
I think you would love that Lady in size small. You can also wear it crossbody. It's less heavy, more convenient and really really beautiful.

I have the Loewe Flamenco Clutch and LOVE it! The shoulder strap is a game changer. It is my everyday bag. So practical. You can dress it up and down. So versatile.

I always wanted a lady dior BUT it is always going in and out of my wishlist. I love the idea of having it but when I try it, it doesn’t 1000% wow me too. It could be the “boxy-ness” of the bag and it seems to be bag that i need to be dressed up to wear ... otherwise the bag seems to “wear me” 😅

I had a lady Dior and it’s very fussy- not easy to use at all, the top handles don’t lie flat and the opening is quite small. Knowing your style I’m not sure it’s the best bag for you. Maybe the D-life version which is cloth and more flexible would be better. The lady Dior is gorgeous and so elegant, but not practical for use in my opinion. Hope that helps!

I personally am not a big handbag person, I think they are beautiful, I'm too hard on them. My husband loves anything from Bottega Veneta. My weakness is jewelry.
I may have mentioned that my younger daughter was left by her great aunt a vintage limited edition Chanel bag. It's absolutely stunning, and she's lets me borrow it on occasion.

I'm in for Kelly Green anything. Right now, I am scouting a small Etro pegasus bag in classic black with gold hardware for knocking around once normal life returns, and various Loewe balloon bags have caught my eye, and a padded Bottega in a bright color is also on the list.Over the holidays, I fell in love with the large Prada Galleria (for work) during a trip to Neiman's. I just bought the now-discontinued (?) Alexander McQueen small Padlock with skull in ultramarine and I love it for everyday.

Maybe the non-black option is worth a try? That raisin/grape color, or the minky grey, are very appealing. Also bags in colors from the Benjamin Moore CT 2021 would look quite neat (I imagine).

Chanel doesn’t make a green color like that and it’s just so beautiful. I’m not sure about the Dior bag either, but you keep going back to it, so there is something making you want it. I own the Lady Dior ultra black matte medium bag and it is fabulous. I get a lot of compliments when I actually carry a bag. It simple, classic and chic. Three "must haves" for me to consider a luxury product.
I own the large lady dior ultra black. It looks amazing but I never reach for it as its really really really heavy. I also use it with a sling and the matt hardware scratches against the strap so.....

The Flamenco has been on my list for awhile too. My friend has a larger size Flamenco in a really rich navy, and it’s a stunner. The Row’s messenger bag looks amazing. Thanks for showing! For some reason the Hermès bag I’m most attracted to is the Picotin in a taupe or tan color. I love that it’s not too structured or showy looking, and I feel like you can really see the quality of the leather.
Loewe Balloon is such a beautiful bag. Already have puzzle but still thinkinf about the balloon. Their bags look way more better in person than online. Great taste!

I love when you talk about luxury handbags!! I am for sure a die hard Chanel girl, but have branched off a little with the BV pouch handbag and a few more. I love the Dior handbags, but have the same problem as you, when I saw it in person the turn off for me was the top opening looked almost impossible to get in and out of. If a handbag is not absolutely user friendly, it is a deal breaker for me!!

I have the "all so black" Lady Dior bag in the size medium, and I love it. However, I haven't use it because of COVID-19. All the restaurants are not really safe to go out and eat at anymore, so I still didn't get a chance to enjoy using it. ( I just don't feel comfortable without my mask outside.) I do love looking at it in the glass cabinet while I'm at my desk. I love collecting and this is the perfect Lady Dior bag for me to collect. 😃 Oh, I love your choices in a "pop" of colors in bags. 😃 Have a wonderful day and stay safe. 😃❤️

I wonder if you asked the SA to shoot you some video of bags to insert in your video to showcase bags(s) in real light, see the softness or firmness of leather and available colors and how it hangs on the body. That would help me purchase.

I was just in Las Vegas for 4 nights in late December 2020 and the brand new Hermes store at Wynn Plaza is now open. The CHANEL boutique at inside the Wynn Esplenade is temporarly closed(in a temporary location down the hall) becuase they are expanding the size of the boutique. Hermes at Crystals also recently(late 2019) moved to a larger space(previously occupied by the Eva Longoria nightclub). Wynn Plaza also opened a new Loewe(first one in Las Vegas) and Bottega Veneta among others.

I own a matte Lady Dior in the medium size and LOVE it! It fits everything I need and it looks stunning. I too usually go for all black ensembles and do own a green Bambou Kelly. It took me a bit to get use to the bright color and now I am so happy I purchased it. Good luck fulfilling your wishlist.
Like classic lines and think a bright color is added fabulous! I had a kelly green cardi that always had mixed comments. But loved it so much! Get the Kelly Green will go great with the black and neutral tones if your wardrobe.

I just got the bottega bag and it’s so beautiful in person. I agree it’s smaller than it looks but I have downsized what I carry now and it’s the lightest weight bag I own.

@@TheMicheleWang I loved the light blue but I went w black because of its timelessness . The blue is sooo nice. I can’t fit my normal makeup bag in there. Just keys. Phone. Probably sunglasses if it’s a small case and a lipgloss. I was shocked how small it is inside when I received it because I ordered it online. It is so light in weight. Like a feather and I have back problems so I love cb bags esp look for light ones. I have to figure out how to fit more in it. Maybe if I buy a pouch ? It’s so luxurious looking tho and I think it can be used casually w joggers and to wear for a night out.

You should go for the Bolide, it is the most useful, easy, versatile bag. It fits so much, the handle is the perfect size, the shoulder strap makes it great on the go (but probably isn't crossbody length), and it is so chic and understated. And if you hate that oval, the Bolide 1923, a slightly smaller version based on an earlier model, has no oval. Love your videos!

I love my Lady Dior. I don’t have the matte which is absolutely stunning but it’s one of those bags I want in different sizes and colors. I have the medium size in black and am looking into a large one next. For very small bags or clutches I prefer Chanel or Saint Laurent. I also love my Bottega Venetas. Have had collected them for years now.

And I just fiished rewatching "My Neighbor Totoro" for the nth time. After all these years, it always has a way of lifting my mood up when I am having a funky day! Trivia: Both sisters are named after the month of May. Satsuki means May and Mei is a variant for May. Anyhoo, the only luxury bag that is on my wishlist is the Louis Vuitton Artsy MM. I love the weaved leather handle design of the bag. And I first saw it worn by a Japanese gentleman.

I'm definitely in the more casual structure bag camp. My lifestyle now doesn't lend itself to a very structured bag. But I also don't want a bag to puddle when I put it down. Soft structure is fine. I'm picky! I love your bag choices.
If you like the general look of the Hermes Bolide bag, but you don't like that oval patch, take a look at the Hermes Bolide 1923. It comes in size 30 cm and a mini version. The 1923 is not as easy to come by, but I think it's worth taking look. They are simple, yet beautiful bags.
I have Dior ABC, it,s perfectly sized by medium and small LD, and has a wide strap (crucial for me). You can personalize it with charms and I love it, it will always be different from anyone else’s. It also is very light in comparison to med LD and looks more fun and edgy. Love it, highly recommend to get if you consider it
HI Michele! Loved this video!! The 24/24 if I remember correctly, when I tried it it was not fitting crossbody however, you can switch the strap, it's a great bag specially in size 29 but having such a high price is holding me back, the green is stunning though!!! I am a crossbody lover so the Jypsiere is my fav and that 24/24 would compete too much with it.
I did venture into the ultramatte LD Dior by the way so I wanted to share, I have the large size as I am trying to combine practicality as much as I can. I bought mine when it first came out as I love black on black bags and I was on a trip so the price was very good, but, I have not used it much, I just never want to reach for it, instead I go for more smushy bags like the Jypsiere for example so I think I will actually sell it. This is weird because I thought this would be with me for so long and it's actually stunning, but not reaching for it is a deal breaker. On the other hand, I have the blue denim shade of the My Lady Dior and that size is great and I wear it much more than the all black... 😊 So, bottom line, the My Lady Dior size is fantastic and as you say it would not be too over the top. The only issue is that I am not very feminine with my style so the Lady Dior has such a Lady vibe that I don't feel it goes with my outfits, the black on black gives it the twist that makes it fit better with my style but the large was not a great choice! 😁 Sending you lots of love 😘

Go for the green Hermès! It will be bright and cheery like ur little orange Chanel bag. Need some brightness in this depressing time.
What I didn’t like about Lady Dior is the top opening seemed really hard to get into and out of The bag easily. Maybe a different leather than the standard patent would be better, like the ultra matte, or one that isn’t quite so structured.
I hear ya-the Kelly green is calling my name, too--and I don't even like green! It just seems like such a cool pop of color for someone who wears a lot of black/white like me. Love the Bolide. Um, I would pass on the Lady Dior. I've had it in medium and mini and sold them except for one mini in white because it's so darn cute. The handles are fussy, the structure makes it uncomfortable and the charms are noisy and annoying. I lost a lot of money on them because they don't hold their value. I love Loewe bags. I love the quality. I have the hammock bag and absolutely love carrying it all year round. Next on my list is the puzzle bag (maybe next year) ! If someone has the puzzle bag, could you please tell me your experience on the size- small or medium. I have the small hammock and i feel that's a good size...but then that's a more open kind of bag so it's easy to fill it up
Small all the way I’m 5’4” and the medium would be too overwhelming on me. The small packs quite a punch! Plus the bigger the bag, the more unnecessary stuff I want to shove into it and the heavier on my shoulder it becomes lol

Love the 24/24 bag and the colour are amazing. I was thinking about the Miss Dior, can it be that its to structured for you taste? I think we have quite the same taste. I do have a Chanel maxi vintage and I love it maybe its because its broken in to because its so soft and I love it, Thank you for a great video nice to see what you are looking for. And it would be nice to see the handbags you have.
Owning some of these bags, I totally vote for the Hermes 24/24 and Bolide. I feel increasingly theirs are just the most classic that one wouldn’t get tired of. The Loewe and Bottega ones I really loved when I got them, but the love does fade more easily.

I loved the Hermes 24/24 29 in the green! If you have a lot of black clothing, the green would be a beautiful pop of color.
