I like everything about it, but the price. I'd buy it in a minute at $350, maybe $399 since it has a receiver and smart esc. It looks really stout. That fuse isnt gonna snap for sure. The motors are almost oversized, so they really sip the power. I'll keep my eyes open for it on sale or used. I just cant see paying that much for a hangar queen I just wouldnt fly alot.
Does anyone know the transmitter alarm that is going off from 8:58 to 9:01? I get that alarm, and realize it correlates with low battery somehow. These guys in the vid mention it being about drawing too many mA, or that the airplane "didn't like" something that happens at 9:01. What happens/what does the plane do when it beeps the 4th or 5th time?
I ask, because everytime I've gotten to that point, it was immediately followed by a hard belly landing out in the field. 🙈
This means the lipo is at the lowest voltage to fly the plane and is about to go into a mode that cuts the propulsion, but you will have alerions and elevator rudder control until the lipo runs out essentially
There used to be one hangared at our local airport. In the early 1990s I saw a blue one performs acrobatics at our local airshow. I did not know that they could or that they flew so well. In the 1990s a movie was made about Emilia Earhart featuring Diane Keaton. They deliberately crashed one for the movie. Made me very sad.
