  • Today we’re going start our journey in Kuala Lumpur Sentral (or KL Sentral for short), Malaysia’s largest transportation hub, to then take the KTM commuter train to Batu Caves, a popular tourist destination in Gombak, Selangor.

Great video! How much time needed to explore the Batu Caves?

Hello, Batu Caves itself can be explored leisurely under an hour. If you want, you can also take a guided tour of the next door Dark Cave for around 45 minutes (get ready to get down and dirty). Thank you for watching!

Lovely video. Was a ticket required before you could access the temple it self because I didn’t see you getting any tickets 🎫. I’m currently in Malaysia and I would love to visit.

You’re welcome! If I’m not mistaken, from KL Sentral to Batu Caves was around 2.30 ringgit (around 0.51 USD) one way, but anyway it shouldn’t cost more than 3 ringgit (approx. 0.61 USD) per way or 6 ringgit (or 1.34 USD) to and fro.
