wow im really happy i get to hear Corey play live. And especially one of the best songs from the old underoath... just wish that the camera was facing him or him facing the camera
but, their music has gotten more plain and simple, less complex and spencer might have a "stronger" scream, but dallas had the sickest sounding scream and growls....dope shit, new underoath is weak if compared to old shit, but w/e.... to each is own
Thats definitely underoath. No doubt about it. Dallas and all the old guys. Octavian was a sick assed guitarist. Im just glad they stopped dressing like they were sponsored by hot topic hah!
actually if you want to be extremely technical, aaron isnt an original member. Scott Nunn was drumming before aaron, and had written the drum parts for Act of Depression but quit the band before it was recorded. meaning Underoath has no original members. but aarons still awesome.
ya thats not true...spencer joined the band in 2003 4 years after act of deppression...the guitarist in underoath during the act of deppression also did some vocals but im pretty sure it was all dallas
lol dude seriously.. before you go posting think about what your going to say THIS IS OLD UNDEROATH. 2000-2001 * Dallas Taylor - Lead Vocals (Currently in Maylene and the Sons of Disaster) * Matthew Clark - Bass (Currently in Kicked Out Heel Drag) * Octavio Fernandez - Rhythm Guitar * Corey Steger - Lead Guitar * Christopher Dudley - Keyboardist * Aaron Gillespie- Drums/Vocals
honestly dallas' stuff is cool but i always have to look up lyrics cause i cant understand what he is sayin...spencer's scream is so brutal and carnal and every word is understandable...i prefer a deep scream to a high pitch one
uh in response kutunder chris wasnt an original member of underoath. aaron is the only original member from act of depression...chris joined the band for cries of the past...and spencer is way better than dallas anyway!
hey all of you saying underoath is all emo now... just take one fucking look at dallas hes being VERY emo or there is some exorcism action taking place
Actually, I'm pretty sure satan is responsible for Underoath's last few musical failures. Just to be clear, i don't care who listens to old or new UO. I just think it's tragic when a band sacrifices a sound that's vaguely original and decides to go the easy route and replace it with a more palatable sound..it's one thing if that's where they're led artistically. But i don't think that's the case when i can flip on mtv right now and see 5 bands playing virtually the same stuff as new UO.
I guess it's just how you see it really. Back then Underoath was more Deathcore than anything else, and now they are totally different (and better?), so we can't honestly argue like TH-cam fanboys about this because it'll never be resolved. Let's just be happy that God has blessed such an awesome band that actually stands for Christ.
Satanism isn't a wardrobe, it's an idea of being free from the chains and oppression of religion and ascertaining that, maybe, just maybe, virtue and morals of one's own design are a lot more precious than those lectured to you. And no, I'm not a Satanist.
You're not serious about that whole Satan thing are you? If so, can you really say that just because a band sucks the cause is Satan? Now granted, I'm sure you're probably being funny or something. But if not.... dude, for real?
He’s one of the few vocalist that I can feel his hate and sadness through his screams. I love old underoath
Rest in peace, Corey Steger. 😞
what?
@@maxcap60 Dallas Taylor's, as well as Underoath's official Facebook pages announced the news today. He died in a car accident. 😔
@@AnCapDanny That's sad.
Omg really? That’s awful dude 😔😔
@@AnCapDannyI know this is an old comment but Dallas is alive.
wow im really happy i get to hear Corey play live. And especially one of the best songs from the old underoath... just wish that the camera was facing him or him facing the camera

u0 used to get down like this!! Dallas is the man!
Why is the crowd so dead?
It was so hot under the tent. And you’re just seeing my camera view. I was more focused on the stage than anything else.
And this song it's the fucking amazing "The Last"
Dallas' crazy HAHAHA
I like how the fans are just staring at Matt or Dallas or whoever while either of the two are going crazy
God I miss underoath
Who wants Old Underoath in 2024? 🤘
The crowd is balls
Aaron was slightly off tempo in the beginning too. Or someone came in late. Lol it happens.
dude, word to this.
Look up the last/letting go of tonight at Furnace Fest. Underoath are more energetic during that performance.
seth kimbrough is a pro bmx rider who is a massive underoath fan.

does anyone know if seth kimbrough was at underoath?
He was in mortal treason

almost all of you guys are wrong, no offense, its octavio not octavian, and aaron is the only original member. chris joined after act of depression.
