Great tip with the shard saving. People don't realise how distracting it is for a new player to get a roster of good champions which they can't really afford to develop yet. Especially for FTP.
I always enjoy the vibe of the early, early game. Not so much to do to burn up your time until you reach lvl 40 so you can concentrate on the really important stuff. Yeh, that Perception gear is massive at this stage. Hugely helpful.

After pulling shards that I just receive from grinding the game, I tell myself the next one I’ll start saving for 2x or 10x. I ended up lying to myself and the cycle starts all over again. (A never ending cycle)

are you actually sure that lore of steel affects speed set pieces? Because it clearly says it boosts sets that improve a star by 15%, however speed sets only boost your speed by 12% for each set bonus.

Im on day 4 today (newbie) my Elhain is lvl60 . Maxxed out :) broke me arm so alot of time on my hands. Just completed brutal in story. Really enjoying the game.

Hell Hades isn't a let's play sort of player he's...a dedicated competitive speedrun sort of Raid Player like a very seriously well informed player. I am not in the same bracket yet as him and it may take at least a full year for me to catch up or less because I grind like mad almost in a similar fashion and am consistently active more than my whole clan combined and have taken the helm as clan leader as a result. I am far more well informed on some console games but the same information does not apply here.
decided to give raid a try now it 3 years old, been following your guie it been helpful. I do ahave one question though been trynig for the warmaiden for 2 days straight now and she not dropping have they changed this or reduce the rate or something cos seriously 2 days and no warmaiden makes me think not worth paying if drop rates are that bad
@@CraftedVision I did it in the same time as HH with a Galek and Warpriest in 3* life gear... It was surprisingly easy... I even completed Brutal with lvl 50 champs...

As far as I'm aware Hell Hades is very fast and busy just in general he is well aware on how to grind and manage resources a skill I still have not mastered to this day.
Hi Hades.. for nightmare campaign(12-7) used your methodology having paragon & scyl for finishing manually, but after victory keeping both them alive. i am getting only 2 stars instead of 3 stars. missing out of sacred shards...wat should i do

You should be pulling those voids. Worst case you get champs to put in the VAULT until Kael is done. Otherwise you will wait 6 more weeks to get your first void champ when really you can use it next week.
I got a paid and a F2P account, The main problem with F2P is when you're XP boost runs out the game becomes unplayable, just trying to level up a champ is painful. I think Plarium needs to offer more ways for F2P players to acquire the boosts because 140 gems for just 24hr boost is mean.
Dunno, i bought only 3 times 3 days 280 gems xp boost, and being nearly 7/7 24/24 with free xp boostt that the game gives you. I'm a 110 days F2P account
Don't grind Champs unless you have double xp? The days where you wait for it just do potions, dungeons, whatever. Then go insane on food grind when you do have it.
@@mrsansource5595 ya see my issue this is the second time around Im taking a F2P account to 50 before I burn it and unlike the last one I didn't grind solid on it and my boosts all ran out before I could build a few solid teams, I found the amount of grind I was having to do on my paid with all this CvC and constant fusions I just didn't have the time to keep up with it. now my f2p is just dead in the water.
What I don't like is the limited shelf life of the double XP. I can't keep it in storage for my days off. I waist so many on days when I can't really take advantage of them.

Where did the legendary bloodstone pulls come from? They don't drop till stage 13 of faction wars right? Or am I missing other places to pick these up?
My question is this i pretty much have been following this series and day 3 i basically ended up with the same red diamonds as you then suddenly day 4 you have a extra 400 so i want to know how you got that extra 400 if you didnt spend any money ingame because im not seeing anything to give me a boost in them like you got.
Guys can someone answer a question for me? The daily quest and time spend in the game daily, gives you full energy potion. If I don`t retrieve them at the same day, will they disappear?

More specifically I'm wondering if you'll be leveling champs that will be useful for progression while they are leveling and then sacrifice them when ready, kind like you did warmaiden previously. Do you know when it starts to make sense leveling fodder chars in hard instead of normal ? I just reached hard today but can't beat the boss in 5 and i can farm good maybe in 3 but i just looked at the numbers and i only get 2781 exp in 3.1 hard while in 10.1 normal i get 3.196 exp. And top of that we have of course the problem that in hard we pay 6 energy and in normal only 4. Gold is a bit higher in hard, 5.6k instead of 4.9k but even that is less per energy.
The forge is so op, that and faction war open for starter champions is a big step in progress! But it is now that the real grind starts! Boots level is the real deal though.
I built my keal to use increased attack from my spirithost ,so when I get my warmaden more damage, I can get more speed on some of the champion but I need them to be speed tuned I got two perception piece on keal 6 star.
definately want to work on getting warmaiden faster than kael, so the debuff is effective. Wish I had known about the forge when I was early early game.
The speed run tactics are insane! Great job HH, very entertaining and informative videos. It's sort of odd that min-maxing tends to be very problematic lately in other games' communities but in Raid, if you're F2P, you pretty much have to squeeze the game and bend it to your will (unless you know you enjoy to play the in your own pace, which is completely fine).
i usally do my 3 stars.. especially when you first 6 star your kael. Obviously you will want to level him up.. so you kill 2 birds with one hard round object if you go back and 3 star a bunch of earlier stuff, and it is actually a lot of exp when you only use the 1 champion alone.

I think in this case you should pull the shards. Even though you're not getting any points from a champ chase, it's better to try and get a game-changer during a 2x Next 2x is 6 weeks away. Holding shards for that long for a bit of extra resources on a brand new account is definitely not worth. Just because you pull a new champ now doesn't mean you have to do anything with it until after kael is 60. Imagine you pulled a maneater / painkeeper / serris this early. It could shape the focus of your account once you get everything rolling.
When do you think is a good time to start farming for gear in dungeons instead of campaign? Just started a week doing that ago since I can now auto dragon 13, but wondering if it too early
I would just wait. I'm personally ignoring all the dungeons except spider. Because honestly, the returns you get in actually useable gear, versus the energy spent to get it, is just not anywhere close to ok. You can spend ALL of your energy for several weeks in dragon and only earn yourself one or two pieces that actually help you. My advice is to stay away from dungeons entirely unless it's spider for those jewelry and banner pieces.
I'm focusing on getting my primary (non jewelry) gear from the forge. Just plan yourself one or two factions that you think you have the champs to carry you to stage 13 faction crypt. (Ideally without sacrificing in clan boss and arena progress) and just get that forge gear. Save your energy for training up food and events/tournaments
personally, i think After you got 1 of your 60 for sure, probably 3 if you manage to get a really powerful dragon or spider team together. Then switch your focus for a while. For any account i reccomend a little farming of those here and there. But don't make your main focus. But you need to get some rings and stuff sometimes.
@@HellHades Well ,without 5 proper champs he will not have any result in Hard, Brutal, etc. After 6-staring first champ, I think the best is to take developing next champs, but they will need gear, and the best area for that is dragon, it covers speed sets for arena, and lifestill for beginers CB. And beginner doesn't have any rooster, so he would be forced to develope what he has, so better to do Warmaiden for Arena (because he should have it), then some random champ for CB, that will turn uselless after month or two... Ofcourse, nothing prevents him to do normal CB, and to go to hard if he sees he have dmg.
My greatest mistake when I started was that I enter the clan about 2 month in the game. I didn't know what for it is, so I did it only when it was requested from missions, and than, for a long time, I didn't see the purpose in farming Easy CB, rewards was so poor (and my levels so ahead of it). And this unlocking forge after several days - it is huge for starting player: 80% of my champs are in perception and resiliance, and forge appeared after I was year and a half in the game - year and a half I was struggling with a gear, and than all of a sudden, I had everything I need with Forge - you miss a peace, you make it, and you make exactly that peace, you don't have to farm a month or two praying to RND gods - look at that -- bamm, 4th day and 6-star gear -- that is HUGE for nowdays starters... they don't have an idea how much we struggle back in the days :D :D :D : D :D
For me I'm at abought the mid game and one of the things I have the hardest things with now that the arena is fixed is letting go of rare champions since I'm free to play with 0 legendary champs

naw, i think usually it comes from abiter missions. You need to plug through a bunch of them.. probably about 40 of them till you get to the shield set. If you ever start a new account, it's a huge upgrade if you focus on the missions just to get that set.
Right, I stand corrected then, thanks for putting that straight, it's been a while. Funny enough I don't remember putting any of my champs in a shield set until I was like 3 months in the game. But maybe that's just me being rubbish at the game lol

It doesn't take that much time because you'll fully upgrade the mine within your first week, too, and there is no urgent need to spend the gems on anything else.

I pulled my 3rd cold heart and finnaly a nuker genbo on my 4 voids I had I'm f2p I have mainly support or def champs been rocking with a nuking vergis in all my teams besides spider
Cannot believe you lucked out and got a 2x event and 10x event with those voids and wont pull them 😆 You could get a lego or even a great epic and not need to put any food towards them until kael is 6 star

It is fortunate that I have Kael on both accounts granted the 2nd one was from a green and the third one I pulled on a green as well on my 2nd account I have 2 60 Kaels w full ascension on 2 different accounts now. There STILL is a problem with these Kaels though getting optimal gear for them is a PAIN especially getting Optimal speed gear for speed leads as most players somehow magically get ahold of VERY good speed gear really fast while I'm stuck behind scratching my head w like at least 2 rank 6 + wondering how they got the gear and why I'm losing speed races constantly in Arena at least I WAS on my 2nd account until I got Apothecary to 6 which turned the tide completely there.

(I never picked Athel on any account for a starter it was Elhain when I was stupid and it moved on to Kael later for both) Spirithost I have on both and was mvp even on my 2nd until I pulled the unthinkable Reliquary tender which replaced her for most content but I still keep Spirithost there for faction wars.
Did the clan mission to score 100 million damage to clan boss on nightmare an only 55 million counted sent them a ticket with a screen shot not heard back. Kinda pissin me off as used 500 gems for extra keys an to be ignored all day takes the piss abit don't know if your gonna read this but if you do could you maybe have a word with them about it thanks
@@HellHades it was done in one day I used the 3 I got from the refreshes then used 5 from the free gems from stage 13 I got a screen shot of it also with the timer on it an my damage.

I'm play this game for 4 weeks now, Kael al most max now, but i want Warmaiden to, playing deadly grounds over and over but stil not got her, get every drop there is mutiple times over but no Warmaiden
The only reason I do it sometimes is it's less gems to buy the energy and you get the xp and silver. It's enough xp to take a 6* from lvl 1 to lvl 40. Gotta grind it some way. But best done overnight on BlueStacks
They changed Shieldbreaker - it no longer carries the 25% more damage to health, it only affects damage to the shield. It's now the worst of the four options in T2 Offense.

It improves all of the basic sets like speed defense offense ect.. What it says is it improves the sets by 15%, as in 12% would go to 13.8%

Would u recommend farming nightmare speed dungeon for 6 star speed boots ?
not sure about HH but I would recommend, my 2 Siphis are wearing uncommon 6* boots from campaign and I go there everytime I need speed boots

That's when you farm potions and gear. XP boost is up, level champs, if it isn't farm potions and whatever level of dragon/spider that you can early.

you might want to use the weapon, helm or shield type charms for a higher chance of you keeping the perception piece

They give you a few free ones when the forge first opens, then it's a long slog to stage 13 for more.

The common and uncommon champs are a start. You will get plenty through mystery shards. You can also do any rares that are farmable through campaign.
I would pay a lot of money to remove the pop ups on the main screen!
If you buy them all out, you will pay a lot of money and the pop ups will disappear.

I got very nice pieces from the forge on my main and my alts. 6 star crit rate gloves and speed boots for my first pieces crafted
very smart to hold onto the void shards. Hopefully to have enough for the next guaranteed champion event

I think in this case you should pull the shards. Even though you're not getting any points from a champ chase, it's better to try and get a game-changer during a 2x
Next 2x is 6 weeks away. Holding shards for that long for a bit of extra resources on a brand new account is definitely not worth. Just because you pull a new champ now doesn't mean you have to do anything with it until after kael is 60.
Imagine you pulled a maneater / painkeeper / serris this early. It could shape the focus of your account once you get everything rolling.

When do you think is a good time to start farming for gear in dungeons instead of campaign?
Just started a week doing that ago since I can now auto dragon 13, but wondering if it too early
I would just wait. I'm personally ignoring all the dungeons except spider. Because honestly, the returns you get in actually useable gear, versus the energy spent to get it, is just not anywhere close to ok. You can spend ALL of your energy for several weeks in dragon and only earn yourself one or two pieces that actually help you. My advice is to stay away from dungeons entirely unless it's spider for those jewelry and banner pieces.
I'm focusing on getting my primary (non jewelry) gear from the forge. Just plan yourself one or two factions that you think you have the champs to carry you to stage 13 faction crypt. (Ideally without sacrificing in clan boss and arena progress) and just get that forge gear. Save your energy for training up food and events/tournaments

if you manage to get a really powerful dragon or spider team together. Then switch your focus for a while.
For any account i reccomend a little farming of those here and there. But don't make your main focus. But you need to get some rings and stuff sometimes.

Dragon, Dragon is the main spot for starting players, and than you gear up from Dragon gear sets and atack Clan Boss and Arena etc.

@@HellHades Well ,without 5 proper champs he will not have any result in Hard, Brutal, etc. After 6-staring first champ, I think the best is to take developing next champs, but they will need gear, and the best area for that is dragon, it covers speed sets for arena, and lifestill for beginers CB. And beginner doesn't have any rooster, so he would be forced to develope what he has, so better to do Warmaiden for Arena (because he should have it), then some random champ for CB, that will turn uselless after month or two... Ofcourse, nothing prevents him to do normal CB, and to go to hard if he sees he have dmg.
My greatest mistake when I started was that I enter the clan about 2 month in the game. I didn't know what for it is, so I did it only when it was requested from missions, and than, for a long time, I didn't see the purpose in farming Easy CB, rewards was so poor (and my levels so ahead of it).
And this unlocking forge after several days - it is huge for starting player: 80% of my champs are in perception and resiliance, and forge appeared after I was year and a half in the game - year and a half I was struggling with a gear, and than all of a sudden, I had everything I need with Forge - you miss a peace, you make it, and you make exactly that peace, you don't have to farm a month or two praying to RND gods - look at that -- bamm, 4th day and 6-star gear -- that is HUGE for nowdays starters... they don't have an idea how much we struggle back in the days :D :D :D : D :D
I actually think getting masteries is better 1st so you can accumulate gems in tournament's & events more easily.

For me I'm at abought the mid game and one of the things I have the hardest things with now that the arena is fixed is letting go of rare champions since I'm free to play with 0 legendary champs

no, they get one as mission reward, just don't remember 4 or 6 pieces
naw, i think usually it comes from abiter missions. You need to plug through a bunch of them.. probably about 40 of them till you get to the shield set. If you ever start a new account, it's a huge upgrade if you focus on the missions just to get that set.
Right, I stand corrected then, thanks for putting that straight, it's been a while. Funny enough I don't remember putting any of my champs in a shield set until I was like 3 months in the game. But maybe that's just me being rubbish at the game lol

hi i am new to raid i played for 5 days now i have a question why do u say to farm the vampire gear i mean we have a very good set and i don't see why u need to farm a second set i get why u farm speed gear it is 1 of the best in the game but vampire set i don't think so

Why would you unlock the mine? It takes lots of time to break-even or are you planning to play for more than a couple months?
It doesn't take that much time because you'll fully upgrade the mine within your first week, too, and there is no urgent need to spend the gems on anything else.
I am so triggered that you didn't pull those shards.

I pulled my 3rd cold heart and finnaly a nuker genbo on my 4 voids I had I'm f2p I have mainly support or def champs been rocking with a nuking vergis in all my teams besides spider
Cannot believe you lucked out and got a 2x event and 10x event with those voids and wont pull them 😆
You could get a lego or even a great epic and not need to put any food towards them until kael is 6 star
Hades can you begin doing challenge videos where you challenge yourself by using only def champs, only champs that have leech, ect to beat as many dungeons/keeps/campaign ass possible?
It is fortunate that I have Kael on both accounts granted the 2nd one was from a green and the third one I pulled on a green as well on my 2nd account I have 2 60 Kaels w full ascension on 2 different accounts now.
There STILL is a problem with these Kaels though getting optimal gear for them is a PAIN especially getting Optimal speed gear for speed leads as most players somehow magically get ahold of VERY good speed gear really fast while I'm stuck behind scratching my head w like at least 2 rank 6 + wondering how they got the gear and why I'm losing speed races constantly in Arena at least I WAS on my 2nd account until I got Apothecary to 6 which turned the tide completely there.
With speed gear from the novice tournament I got both Athel and Spirithost to 170+ speed very soon.
@@guidodenbroeder935 I'll keep my eyes peeled for that Athel I have on my 2nd account from a shard. (I never picked Athel on any account for a starter it was Elhain when I was stupid and it moved on to Kael later for both) Spirithost I have on both and was mvp even on my 2nd until I pulled the unthinkable Reliquary tender which replaced her for most content but I still keep Spirithost there for faction wars.

Did the clan mission to score 100 million damage to clan boss on nightmare an only 55 million counted sent them a ticket with a screen shot not heard back. Kinda pissin me off as used 500 gems for extra keys an to be ignored all day takes the piss abit don't know if your gonna read this but if you do could you maybe have a word with them about it thanks

@@HellHades it was done in one day I used the 3 I got from the refreshes then used 5 from the free gems from stage 13 I got a screen shot of it also with the timer on it an my damage.

I'm play this game for 4 weeks now, Kael al most max now, but i want Warmaiden to, playing deadly grounds over and over but stil not got her, get every drop there is mutiple times over but no Warmaiden
I always buy masteries. Cannot stand grinding Minotaur.
I'd rather be farming for good gear
The only reason I do it sometimes is it's less gems to buy the energy and you get the xp and silver. It's enough xp to take a 6* from lvl 1 to lvl 40. Gotta grind it some way. But best done overnight on BlueStacks
I've started grinding them. saving gems for if they ever do another garunteed champ event with ancients. I'd give anything for a Countess Lix.

They changed Shieldbreaker - it no longer carries the 25% more damage to health, it only affects damage to the shield. It's now the worst of the four options in T2 Offense.
When did this happen?
