I just purchased one, paid $92 , delivered. I noticed there's a small mount below the fuselage for a future? FPV camera. I'm gonna add a little 3.4gm 5.8 gHz AIO, TX and antenna. Or lop off an inch or so from the nose, and stick it there.
An awesome little VTOL for sure. Loved it, so versatile and fast! Would love to see one of them just a bit bigger, perhaps a meter larger. But truly enjoyed this one. Thanks to Tom for his flying skills and Jason behind the camera....time for a pint....Cheers, Ken 🍻👍😎
Eflite should watch this video and learn something. I've had 2 of their convergence vtol planes and both had a signal issue. I even tried 3 completely different receivers and 2 different transmitters and it still lost signal beyond 50yards. I also know 2 other people that had one and they both ended up in bits due to signal failure
Me too. There are several inherent design flaws with the Convergence electronics. The physical aircraft and it's design are innovative and should be celebrated, but E Flite need to sort out the receiver, power distribution and strengthen the wings that are very very thin and fragile with no carbon fibre support. This Chinese copy is better because they learned and bettered. As the Japanese and Koreans did with Western cars and electronics 20-30 years ago. No wonder DJI own the drone space!
Sweet flyer! Wonder if they could make something that flies like the XK-450 but looking like either a Quin-Jet from the Avengers or the X Plane from X-Men.

It will. When in 6G mode on the 3 position switch you can click the Red button to go to 3D button and that removes the limitation on roll and pitch preventing going inverted. We will do a video on that next time. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Got one of these over Christmas. I can pair the transmitter and aircraft successfully but cannot make this model start. The mode switch works to rotate the front motors upwards or forwards, but there is no other response from the model - the props will not spin and the ailerons will not move. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions greatly appreciated! (Batteries are fully charged.)
Do you guys not even read the instructions before going to the field? It's as though you didn't have a clue what was going to happen when you flicked a switch.
Why bother with all that. It's cheap. Just buy it and fly it on the tx that it comes with. Life is too short to spend time wasting setting up another transmitter with this....and it probably won't work anyway. 🙄
The design is great but inferior components gives this model a bad review 1. Main board smoke 2. Two esc became inoperable due to unknown reason. 3. Clevis damage due to poor material 4. Propellor disintegrate in mid flight ,not leaving even the stem behind.( the locking nut remains on the motor shaft) 5. Removing the propellor is a grunt! ...not recommended to anyone till all issues are resolved! Manufacturer,pls use better quality electronics and plastic parts.
Eh, I think you are talking about a 'plain' when it comes to the animals buddy. 'Plane' is an accepted informal abbreviation of aeroplane. Best not to correct someone when you get it terribly wrong yourself now is it. 😂

That rear prop isn’t for elevator control it has elevons like most all flying wings. The rear prop only spins in tri-copter mode.
This looks like great fun. Ideal search and rescue model. Simply attach a camera and you could find lost planes and parts in the out field 👍

I might have missed it but the transmitter beeping all the way through was quite irritating. Doesn't it mean 'check batteries'?
if you have problem breaking props you can use WLtoys XK X251 props work fine maybe little stronger
Does the photo button do anything? If there is a built-in camera, what is the protocol, WiFi?

Figured it out... both sticks down and outward from center to arm the motors.
