There were many awesome lead Soul Stirrer singers. Your dad was second only to Sam Cooke in my opinion. I love at least 7 lead singers so your dad sang without screaming. He simply crooned and smooth as maple syrup. Notice that Sam Cooke wasn't a screamer neither. However, I also love screamers but they don't stir the soul. They electrify an audience. Reverend Julius Cheeks was the best screamers and one of my favorite gospel singers. However, I will take the sweetness of maple syrup any day. La da da da da! 😌😉🕺🏾🎤🎶💯💕
